【Taiqing Palace (Shenyang)】
Taiqing Palace is located at No. 16 Xishuncheng Street, Shenhe District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province.
Initially, it was the place where Guo Shouzhen (郭守真), the eighth generation disciple of the Dragon Gate sect of Quanzhen Tradition (全真龍門派), practiced. It was called Sanjiao Hall (三教堂). During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, it was rebuilt and renamed Taiqing Palace, dedicated to the Taishang Laojun (太上老君). Taiqing Palace is the largest Quanzhen Taoist temple in Northeast China.
