This is easily my favorite Nike silhouette in years 🔥I am a sucker for runners. The patches partially covering the Swoosh are especially bold as is the Swoosh jutting out to create a pull tab. ✌🏽💙🏃🏽♂️

That's a pretty damn clean looking shoe. I was thinking I just got the crater impacts and what if one day they took an air unit visible in a crater foam midsole....hmmm.
Mehhh it technically is new tech, they just didn't give it a name, but based on the mechanics of this unnamed Air brace thing, how the Air unit functions/feels will be different than being enclosed by the midsole (/and outsole). Sometimes it might be easy to forget Air is natively running tech, so they might feel different in a short run/sprint. That's what I realized a few years ago when some 97's were feeling mad stiff and tight on my foot, but when I ran across a road, the tuned cushioning activated like a switch; the upper turned loose and the stiff sole felt like a sponge. These were obviously designed for lifestyle use, but with Air it could be entirely different when you add pressure 🤷🏾♂️
Nice inputs which I think the vlogger set aside the runner's experience regarding the new mechanic in the bubble switch andjust focused on the "re-use" of the still the same bubble tech. Like Nightwing said in his vlog, nike should have printed in the box or made a phamplet to explain the Air brace thing.
This should have been the 2090 and and as mentioned by your good self, cushioning needs to improve. I would like to see them in hand to have the final say. Overall a good addition to the Nike sneaker catalogue.
The lack of tissue paper did throw me for a loop when I got my cosmic unitys but it goes with the theme they're trying to sell. Reusing old tech seems fine if they're pitching the concept of reusable goods
Nike is an American company. If Nike were based in Belgium you would likely see Nike release more sneakers in Belgium than in other parts of the world.
Clear. Concise. Tremendous review (per usual). Also love the optimism. Was always fond of peeling back the tissue paper ever so smoothly to reveal the sneakers underneath. Yet. I am not upset with your viewpoint. Quite refreshing.
The air bag might look similar to back in the day, but the cushioning isn't. They are no way near as comfortable as they used to be in the 80s n 90s, as they use a different gas now than they did pre early 2000s. The gas now is harder, more dense, where as the older gas was more supple and for want of a better word, squishy. So the newer air bag and gas are supposedly better for the environment.

The Nike Air Max Pre-Day is the New Balance 327 with an Air unit.
I liked them so I had to buy them. I got the all black ones with the gum bottom, great shoes in my opinion.

I love the midsole. Would love to see it paired with Flyknit, maybe a Flyknit Trainer type hybrid. The upper is really dated looking.

They used max air in the heel and not zoom air because it is releasing on air Max day.
