    The frenzy over tanzanite is probably nonsense. Why is Tanzania the only place on earth where this mineral is found? Is that true of diamonds? Are diamonds found in Russia, Brazil, South Africa?

      The geological conditions in this region are unique for the formation of tanzanites. Altrough I saw pinky zoisite from Pakistan, they are still far away from the tanzanite look and it is unlikely (based on what I read) that a new deposit will be discovered.
      Diamonds, on the other hand, are quite common (depends on the size and quality of course) and found on all continents.

      Later on I will do a video on fluorites, although not that rare, it is the most diverse mineral one can have!
