THIS is 100% me! I just finished the first month. I lost 16 pounds. You lost 6. But that's completely normal. Men biologically lose weight faster initially than women do. Everything else you said matches me exactly!!❤
I actually need to eat more because I've only been averaging about 1000 calories a day and I should be at 2500 calories.
I'm VERY happy with the results thus far. My doctor just upped my dose as you doctor did for you at the time you made this video.
My energy levels are way up. I don't sleep as much as I should. I do have insomnia on and off lately with this pill but I'll be OK. Maybe once or twice a week.
I have no overwhelming desires for junk food. Since being on Osymia I've not cheated on my self imposed year long diet of chicken salads, tuna salads, and canned chicken breasts, as my main food, with water as my only drink and nuts as my snack.
I get full really fast. Where I use to eat two salads during one meal, or two cans of chicken breasts, one fills me up now.
GOOD NEWS WHEN I NEEDED IT TO CHEER ME UP! THANK YOU GOD!🙌

Thank you so much for the feedback! I just got my prescription for Qysmia today (after no luck with the Wegovy supply) and cannot wait to use it as a tool to help with my weight loss journey like you mentioned! :) I definitely will be mindful of caffeine and the elevated heart rates, which makes sense why my primary care physician said to take it early in the day.

Thank you for this video! I struggle with many of the same issues as you do and I haven’t started the meds yet…hope they work just as well for me :)

In all honesty I had a pretty scary change at about the 2 week mark and just a few days ago was forced to stop it. I will be uploading a video about it soon to talk about what happened so hopefully it might help others who have similar effects from it. I know many people who have had an awesome experience on the 7.5 mg though and have lost a lot of weight on it so I hope you handle it well ❤️ I will be documenting what I try next as well depending on what my doctor decides to do. I won’t give up! lol

I finally uploaded a video about it covering what happened. Scary but I’m still going to push forward and hopefully my doctor can help me find something else that will work well ❤️

I’m a psychiatric patient and my dr is happy how this med is working with the others I am taking, which can be an issue with appetite suppressants and this can be taken longer than 3 months which higher 37mg plain adipex limits you to.

I'm on my third day of the starter dose. I got the 2 week starter pack (3.75mg) then I move up to the 7.5mg dose. Think I may document my progress as well.

It really does help! I’m documenting the new med I am on too and it really helps me keep track of weight loss, side effects etc because I am totally one of those people who forgets things when I check back in with my doctor lol I also feel like it holds me accountable while also letting me really see the changes taking place.

I have anthem insurance. Did your insurance cover this? And how much did you wind up paying. I’m currently on Phentermine and want to go to this when I’m done taking it in a few months

    • @sweetReaper

Insurance covered part of it but it still cost me nearly $90.

I’m about to get the starter for $91. Anthem didn’t cover mine. After this starter for a 30 day supply it’s supposed to be $200 😢

@@evetorres4363 I would look to see if there are any Qsymia company coupons online. I am using a coupon for my current meds (now Wegovy) and it has saved me a lot of money. Unfortunately most insurances are very stingy when it comes to medications that aid with weight loss.

@@sweetReaper Yes. We actually started out with an RX for Wegovy but $1,000 out of pocket. No way I can do that! So we moved to Qysmia.

Did you loose your weight after taking this medicine? If then how much weight did you lost?

    • @sweetReaper
      @sweetReaper  Год назад +3

Before I had to stop taking it I lost around 6 lbs. After stopping it I gained the weight back plus some and am now on a new medication called Saxenda which is working great for me.

It caused some pretty severe depression and scary thoughts for me after being on it for a bit and I had to drop it very quickly. The effects went away within 24 hours of stopping
