I just got a Clara dupe on the Standard Banner the other day and now my Clara is at E1 S3. When I first started played the game I got 3 copies of her LC for the first 2 months of playing and I haven’t gotten Welts, Bronyas, Yanqing, Gepards or Bailus.
There’s a lot of things wrong with this logic so let’s break it down a bit. A: it’s been mentioned by some other people already, but Clara’s main damage comes from her counter follow-up *not* from her skill. B: any team focusing on Clara as the main dps will want Clara to already be getting hit as much as possible meaning that she’s already going to be re-applying the mark of counter regardless of if was removed or not prior. C: the one probable situation where Clara won’t be getting constantly hit is if she’s working as a sub-dps for a team but even in that scenario you most likely still wouldn’t want to be constantly spending skill points on her every turn (and yes it would need to be used nearly every turn in order to give effectively higher results than e0)
The main problem with Clara skill is that you don't wanna build speed because most of your damage comes from the counter, not Clara's actual turn. So because Clara is slow as sin the skill ends up doing very little damage overall. BUT if you're running her with fast Sparkle you can keep the attack boots on and move Clara up the turn order, effectively making her have like 160+ speed. At which point the skill damage starts really adding up. So yeah, this eidolon is actually really good in Clara hypercarry with Sparkle.
@@mothman5035 Does this apply the same thing with Robin instead? I happen to have Clara at e1s1 and picked up Robin. Robin can advance the entire team and her ult last for her entire turn. It would make sense to try to get my dps as many turns as possible before Robin gets her turn ending her singing ultimate. In this case, would it be better if I run speed boots or would atk% boots still result in better performance for Clara?

@@hxnslshhax9011 But that joke doesn't fit because he got her from standard with free standard passes which is actually a win. Of all the things he could've gotten, getting e1 Clara is one of the best thing he can get from there. Imagine getting Bailu or Yanqing instead.

I know at first i was soo hyped about it until I wasn't she's like one turn every two cycle XD
After e1 it is actually a big part of her damage if her build is decent. Unless you go for skill positive Clara

no its not, it is listed as other effects just like Hanya's skill and Acheron's Crimson knot. Different from debuffs
