    Hi, seth, thanks for another video! They are like coming back to a trusted friend who will always remind you of what is the standard and keep you in line. Especially someone like me who alternates between the hardbat game and sponge variety, this can be confusing so yeah, thanks.

    Woah I have been doing these exact drills for months with little improvements. I watched your videos, then want back and try the drills on the next session and suddenly my shot qualities went way up. I think I "copied" your hitting form and stand a bit taller, which helped being lighter on the foot. I used to get into a very low stance after service, which make it harder to take the first step in to play in the table. Thank you sooo much!

    Nice video as good as other tips and details, really helpful. Can you share information about "how to improve repeatability of shots". I'm thinking about quality of stroke. Sometimes i play shots with really good quality but also errors at the same kind of shots. Even if I know how to stroke but after few shots i do change of movement shot often caused by the change of racket grip. Maybe you have some advice or tips how to improve repeatability of shots. I know that practice and multiball but i think i forget about something important. Maybe good topic for next video :)

    • @PechPongTT
      @PechPongTT  Год назад

      Repeating shots is easier said than done as we all know, it can come down to moving into position (good footwork) or being able to adjust for many different types of balls including speed changes spin changes depth changes, height. each of these need minor adjustments that are very similar to the base fundamental stroke, from the outside it looks like the pro is making the same stroke but to him he feels he is making many quick adjustments and changing the stroke ever so slightly. In my videos I go over a lot of those changes and how to adjust for them. I hope that helps clarify or demystify the problem you are having.

    It seems that you always step in with the right foot for a shorter bal. Is that a good conclusion?

    • @PechPongTT
      @PechPongTT  Год назад +1

      Yes that’s a good conclusion! I play with the right hand and when I use the right foot it gets me closer to the ball

    Hi, I notice that you often talk about being aware of your opponent's movement & position, while you are about to hit the ball. I feel like I can either watch the ball or my opponent, but not both at the same time. I would love to see a coaching video on the use of vision during play and hear your thoughts on improving in this area.

    • @PechPongTT
      @PechPongTT  2 года назад +1

      Hi you have hit the nail right on the head and addressed one of the hardest things to do in table tennis, Ive been playing for 18 years and I am finally feeling comfortable to watch what my opponent is doing with the ball and their positioning without feeling like I am going to mishit my own shots, I guess it comes down to practicing each separately and letting them come together naturally, there is no magic pill just time and focused practice, not being too concerned with missing as long as you feel like you are watching and looking for things
