Great to see the hockey pucks back in action!
    Well done, Scotty, well done!

I thought that Martin used standard wood glue (PVA style) for standard, or, non custom shop guitars any more. I didn't know hyde glue stuck to that type of glue. You learn something every day. Great video.

Great video! And, I can't believe you played the elusive "H" chord at the end. Very good!

    Hello.
    Good show!
Curiously, what is the moisture content in that SB right now?
Factory instruments fared better if they were made in winter---Nov to march, really.
Yes,,good and hot is the key!

      Thanks!
It was around 45°-50° but it dried out years ago when it was in NY for a few rough winters

How do you get the cleats on the tj system to stay on the caul as you put it inside ?

Hello Sam! I use Little strips of double sided tape.

Good episode, Scotty. I have an HD-28 myself, so this one was particularly interesting. Was this a humidity issue? Just curious, as I use in-case humidifiers through the winter. I’d prefer not to see cracks like this on on my HD. 😮

Nice Scotty! What if you heated up the first crack and reactivate the HHG? Then use the cleat system to even it out?

That is exactly what I did. After I finished the video there was a behind the scenes do-over.
      Thanks!
