As always you are very welcome . I only do this stuff because I want to share the heritage of our fairgrounds and rides in the hope it will be appreciated , loved and embraced by future generations . This form of entertainment and fun is currently suffering at the hands of technical progression and I find It sad that fairground history and culture may well be left behind and forgotten . Our charter fairs will always survive because of the historic value behind them but the older rides that are part of this history are no longer included in the line up of the more modern high tech machines . It's one of the reasons Dingles heritage centre and Carters steam fair is so precious with it's incredible restoration and up keep of older rides . Dingles is a truly class act , what a great place to visit .

I was lucky enough to ride on the Shaw's Moonrockets when they visited Lincoln Steam and Vintage Rally in 2009, in fact I think it was possibly it's last trip out before being 'mothballed'.
We owe a great deal of gratitude to the late Mr Lakin and also to Dingles for purchasing this 'must have' attraction, in my opinion their most important.
I rode it twice at Lincoln and have to say it was the best travelling ride I have ever had the pleasure to go on.
P.S. I hope to upload my video footage of the Moonrockets at Lincoln in 2009 to my own channel sometime soon.
P.P.S It is nice to see the attractions in their ORIGINAL/UNTOUCHED artwork, as opposed to all being repainted in matching designs ( like a certain place in Wales ).

As amazing as the rides are to see and I imagine, ride on, its all the history and write ups all around that I would enjoy taking the time to look at and read!
One day I might get a break from work and give myself a day out!
