Rest in Peace Ryan. You wrote my all time favorite intro. Rest easy friend.
Still one of my favourite 7 string riffs and also guitar playthroughs, both of them just make it look so flawless. RIP Ryan, such a massive loss 🖤💔
This opening riff is massive
this intro and the breakdown from Lucid are hands down the filthiest fucking things I’ve heard in my lifetime
Not sure who plays the lead guitar. Both are just so sick. Polaris needs way more attention. Just perfect tune.
DouchebagDevastator definitely Ryan. But I know what you mean, what both of them are doing is crazy good!
Both.
Leady and rythm guitar--this concept doesn't apply to most modern prog metal! I mean the both aspects are intertwined into one! Idk if that makes sense! To put it in one sentence:- both guitarists are playing rythm and lead parts :/
Fucking agreed!!!
modern metal doesnt require lead
Opening riff for this song sounds like heaven.... Breaks my heart to say this but RIP Ryan, hope your soul is at peace.
Rest in piece Ryan Siew!!
it hurts me to listen to Polaris now. RIP Ryan
I get Holcomb vibes on this one! Awesome song guys keep being awesome!!
Feels more like a misha thing to me tbh especially after hearing remain indoors
Fuuck this is too good! Been waiting for this
Its missing a nerf gun though...
Rest in Peace Ryan ❤❤❤
Dude legit one of the sickest band I've heard how everyone reacts to each other man. Hell yah goo job guys keep !!!
R.i.p. bro, never replaceable.
This guitar composition is nothing short of a masterpiece!
This song definitely have some Scarlett from Periphery vibe in it!
Looks like there's a new mayones in the house. 😎👌🏻
Nope, it's just Ryan's old Duvell that he let's Rick borrow. Ryan did just get a new 6 string Regius though, and Rick has a 7 string Regius currently being built.
just found this band and now this is my 5th favorite band. coming in behind crown the empire, northlane , erra, and sws. God I'm buying tickets to see them at hob. love this
As an addict in recovery, this song hits me
This song sounds like anime opening, and I do really like it! :D

Damn this is great! We need a Drum Playthrough too!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
At least 1000 of the views on this video are from me alone. Amazing song from an amazing band!
RIP Ryan Siew. 🖤
Ricks guitar is so fucking gorgeus. The shape, the finish, just everything
HOLY SHIT!!! These guys kick ass. So bad ass watching this... Rabbit hole achievement unlocked... gonna be up for hours now. 🤘🤘
This is the sickest band. I have to see them live.
They destroy!! Saw them open for PWD and they really got the crowd going. I'm honestly surprised all of us in the crowd that day even survived the whole show. The venue was 120° with no A/C and 4 bands lol one of the best nights of my life for sure!
Polaris lml! Greetings from Perú lml!
Rest in Paradise Ryan
💙 from 🇩🇪
Cool
fook yes boys
Fuck yes! Thank you for this. Great song.
Miss you Ryan!
I'm not sure if I deserve that much epicness
we will miss you ryan🤍🎸
keep it up!!! \,,/
can you do a crooked path playthrough??
DT from AFTV! :D
Awesome! Will you guys release for this album too?
I have a Regius 7M that I love so much! Its playability is absolutely superb plus it sounds amazing (BKP Aftermaths). It's the super car of electric guitars, along with the Duvell and Hydra series both being in the same category. Keep it up guys!!
Hi, do you have a baritone Regius 7? Or 25.5"?
@@turn8191 Mine is 25.4".
@@maideo I also want to buy such a guitar model, but I don't know if it is suitable for low tunings (drop g/drop f#)
@@turn8191 You will need a baritone for those tunings, because the lowest tuning you can go on a 25.4" (like 25.5") is Drop G# and any lower than that will sound muddy. So you can opt for either the 26.5", 27", or 28" baritone scale length, or you could also opt for the multi-scale version like the Regius VF BKP 7 (25.4" - 27") instead of baritone, if that's your thing.
@@turn8191 And speaking of muddiness, it also depends on the kind of pickups, string gauges, tension, etc.
RIP Ryan 😢
Ryan💔💔
tabszzz?
RIP Ryan
Crooked Path would be dope
This is the best core band on earth right now. Period.
This is so good boys! What tuning is this??
Please do crooked path next
Lowden Lad I wanna see a drum playthrough of that one as well!!
drum play through of lucid would be sweeeeeet
What model of BKP is this??
What string gauges does ryen use on hes 25.5 scale?
🥹❤️🔥🤟
What do you guys play through for processing? Does anyone on here know?
Could someone tell me a few tips for getting such tone. I mean, there is a lot of bass and still the highs ring well and it is very clean, not muddy at all at the same time. How tf
This is just me, but I tend to crank the treble setting on my amp to at least like a 7, bass at a 4, mids usually also 7. I try not to use too much gain, because you don't want to oversaturate your tone, a noise gate helps, a lot. You can get a cheap one that does the job, I got little micro gate that does the job surprisingly well, cost me like £20.
When playing this type of music you can dial the bass back a bit, because the low tuning takes up a lot of the lower end, you don't need to add it back. The mids help add a lot of clarity to your chords, and the treble adds a lot of what I refer to as "chonk" to the tone.
I'm not sure what amp you have, but this is genrally what I go for on any amp, though it's just my personal preference, you can change it around as you please.
That's how I tend to end up with a similar tone, I love playing this type of music. I know you posted this a while back, but I hope this helps a little. ;D
there's really no secret. they use 5150 amps with orange cab if I remember right. it's the pickups they use that give them the godlike tone. they use bare knuckle pickups
What scales do I need to learn to play like this
None! Just play a bunch and your ear will just hear this stuff in your head if that makes sense, most guitarists in this genre to my knowledge don't know anything about music theory and they're some of the best guitarists ever. I know for a fact Jesse from ERRA and Sam from Napoleon don't know anything about theory, but they're both my favorite 2 guitarists and write things like this if not more crazy
All of em lmao
I really love the guitars in this song
How many takes did it take u guys
It’d be bad ass if both of u could do this in one shot
Doubt i
they play it live so they can definitely play it all in one shot
They play their songs live perfectly, never heard them miss a note
Chubby or not the dude rips. good shit guys
Eargasam
Fuck there is some nice wood in this video. Wish I could afford those venetian blinds
Is mayonnaise an instrument?? (Patrick's voice)
skyscodaofficial lol, it's 'Mayones' and it's a guitar & bass manufacturer out of France or Austria or somewhere there. Top quality instruments.
Haha I know 😜. I was just making a Spongebob reference lol
fucking hell
Poland ;)
What BKP do they use?
Is it possible to play this on a 6 string at all?
1:50
What scale lenght are you playing?
25.5" for me and 27" on the other guitar
Ryan Siew what’s the tuning to regress?
Who the fuck dislike this.
**insert funny original mayonaisse joke**
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
R y a n S i e w Though
The amount of money these guys spend on Guitars must be Sky High
ugh
Veil of Maya - Aeris vibes. Am I the only one?
Mayonnaise Guitars.
For a minute I thought it was a different dude playing on the left, then I realized it's actually Ryan, who gained some weight. Also is the other guy back with Mayones again after using Kiesel?
In other playthroughs, they were both with Mayones but Rick didn't have a 7 string yet from them, so he had to use his Kiesel
