Freaking brilliant. Very thorough and nicely edited with the arrows and labels. Thank you so much. I am curious now about creating an SEO dashboard using GSC data 🤔
Is it possible to create drop-down filters in the GA4 dashboard so that the user can select the values as per his requirements? Like we do in tableau dashboard
Yes, this video along with the other videos include an example of a dashboard that uses drop-down filters. You can also add optional metrics and that will allow users to switch between metrics/values.
Growth Learner always deliver!!! Although this may not be relevant but can you recommend any solution for migrate my old annotation from Universal analytics to GA4? Need it please
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the user ID dimension is available. If you have access to BigQuery, try bringing the data there into Looker Studio.
Hi. Yes, you can but it's not great for sharing and there are some limitations to data points. For example, values for dimensions are cut off after a certain number of characters. If a URL is too long, you won't see the end of it.
Thanks for watching! Do you mean a time series chart or something like the Top User Events/Actions table with the bars? For the former, you can use event count for first_visit. For the latter, you can use a landing page dimension with # of users or sessions. Does that help?
I am trying to create a custom field in Looker Studio for GA4 Data Source which will show me the count of specific events. So as an example let's say total event count is 100 in mar 23 And I have a custom event which was triggered 50 times in mar 23 If I use the event count metric in looker studio available metrics it will show 100 But I was to use a scorecard that will show the count for the specific custom event i.e 50 I do not want to use the Filter option as it is not scalable in my case, I want to create custom fields, but I am struggling with the formula, so far i tried the below formula but it did not work SUM(IF(Event name - GA4="G1_COMPLETION",Event count - GA4,0)) Assuming the event name is "estimate_pageview" can you please let me know how can i make this work?
Did you find a solution to this? You can try a regex function to look for your event name, support.google.com/looker-studio/answer/10496674?hl=en. Let me know how that works out for you.
I love your videos! Can you do a video like this for RUclips analytics? Also, is there a way to connect YT data if you are a brand manager and not account owner?
Thanks for watching! I'd love to create videos for RUclips analytics. I'll have to figure out how to include those in my schedule. I would think you'd be able to connect it if you're a brand manager. You'll have to try it out.

Thanks for watching! Appreciate the feedback! The GSC template in Looker Studio is a good place to start. You could add page search functionality.
Thank you for sharing. I have a question. How can I move my old annotation data from UA to GA4?
My pleasure! I'll have to get back to you for the annotations.

Any idea? How can i automate annotations in google analytics 4?
Great question. There's a tool for this called GAannotation.
Sorry, I haven't used a tool for this. Did you find something?

If i am using firebase analytics data, then how can i get the user id data

Hi, Can't we create a dashboard in Ga4 itself?

Amazing video, very easy to follow. How can a user entrance chart be added to the dash?
