Hi there. Glad you liked the video. Your best bet is to contact your local Suzuki dealer and they can answer your questions :-). You can find their info here marine.suzuki.co.uk/find-a-dealer/
I have owned over 15 outboard engines since 1979, from a 15 hp to a 115, 2 stroke and 4 stroke. Johnsons, evinrudes, Mercury's, Yamaha, Honda, Suzukis. I currently own a 2019, 90 hp Honda, an amazing engine, a 2021 ,50 Mercury....made in CHINA, and a 2022 , 25 hp Suzuki. My 25 suzuki has electric start, rope start, power tilt and trim. Its a strong 25 hp , 3 cyl, 30 cubic in engine. When it comes to performance, their simply is no replacement for displacement. 3 cyl are stronger than 2, 30 cubic inches are stronger than 25. My 25 Suzuki has a top speed with 2 adults, full (TOO MUCH) gear of 28 mph on a 14 48 G3 jon boat. I'm running a 12 pitch prop. I'm very pleased with it......also it was thousands less the the "almighty" Yamaha. Reply
Hi Jess, thanks for watching our video. The DF25A is actually an in-line three-cylinder engine with some of our finest technologies giving it class-leading advantages that put it ahead of the rest. It is the first in class to feature friction reducing roller rocker arms and to utilise an offset crankshaft to achieve smoother operation and greater mechanical efficiency. Fuel is supplied with our Lean Burn Control system and a Battery-Less Fuel Injection system that gives these outboards remarkable improvements in fuel efficiency while maintaining excellent power and performance. Hope this helps.
Looking at the suzuki 25 and 30 it seems it's the same motor except for the prop? Displacement and stroke all the same whats different besides price?
Thanks for this video!
One question please, how portable is the engine ?
Is it possible manipulate the engine alone ?
Thanks in advance
