- The final video on our apartment renovation series: the full tour. This was definitely a fun process and we got to learn a lot from it. We completely transformed our kitchen, bathroom, and living space. We spent approximately $9k on everything including the tools, appliances, furniture, and all of the other materials for the entire apartment. We are car people to begin with, but we recently bought our first property. You can take the extra slats out of the blinds so you don't have that huge stack at the bottom of the window.
