What are your names? You blokes beat the Yanks hands down in both presentation and content. Brilliant. I'm 71, so brought up in the Hot Rod era. I love this project. Please keep us informed, your background information is exceptional. Great work fellas, what champions. How old are so I can stick it into the knobs who knock young poeple.
You really have taken on a major project. Good luck.
Just subbed looking forward to seeing this project finished, top work mate
Wicked video man, loved that!!
Cool project mate 👌
What a great project and I have been out of the game for a while now but a " challenge" used to be that for a rebodied vehicle, changing the wheel base or suspension mounting points then meant that the chassis had to comply with all current ADRs whilst the body had to conform to the rules applicable to the date of its manufacture most difficult of course was the engine,There were work arounds such as mounting a Jag IRS to a cradle that bolted to the original leaf spring mounting points and using a LPG only engine and no petrol fuel tank or lines at all. This was NSW up until 1999 so your mileage might vary but it could be prudent to check out the current rules where you live. I am looking forward to seeing your success with this project and which you good luck with it.
Brilliant, love ya work, thanks mate 👏👏
Love your work mate, just subbed.👍
Nice job on the ute conversion, a lot of work to get the chassis right, but I think it's a good choice for width.
Great work on the ute cab conversion. With all the work needed to get the hilux chassis right have you considered using the Graham chassis with the hilux suspension and diffs? Looks like a fairly strong chassis, although not fully boxed, it at least has the big X brace.
That’s worth a sub,
Onya fella’s 😎
I have subscribed. This looks like an interesting project.
Awesome video! ✨👏
Awesome video and great to see you back, all the best for 2025 Cheers 🍻 KC 🇦🇺🦘🪃🏔🤝🇦🇺🦘🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻

Another sub. Looking forward to it.
A super rare car especially for it's year, seems a shame not to restore it, everyone to their own, should be an interesting build.
bit of a shame but at least this way it'll will see the road again in some form
I dreamt of this concept when I owned a 1948 Bedford truck not the one with dual rear wheels . I put a186 Holden motor in it and it was scary fast not ever made for modern road speeds
Great workmanship mate shithot bro
Subscribed. I want to see this thing on the road
Go at IT..😮
I once owned a 1930 Graham Paige saloon which had hydraulic brakes beautiful car here in Cambridge N Z silly I swapped it for a Morris 1000 to Kirby rental cars Hamilton in the 60 s
Very nice, i like
Onyas 😅👍🤠🇦🇺
Cool
There were Graham s sold in South Island I think it was by Wrightsons
nice subbed
👌🏼😎
Did l notice that you are using a Toyota Hilux 4th generation chassis by the way an excellent choice for a chassis because they are probably the strongest chassis ever made because l own a 5th generation Toyota Hilux and they still used the same chassis and into the 6th generation Toyota Hilux and the 4th generation Toyota Hilux helped Chad win the Toyota War back in 1987
G'day orsum job mate I git same idear 1946 bedford truck on hiluc 4wd chassis thommo
Great work but my old toyota 4x4 is still good shape
Not 1936 Crusader wheels..
Why an old Hilux?
😳😳😳
Really, after all that work, you'll have an old Hilux 😮
I don't think people realise that a chassis swap dictates what it's registered as
Hiluxes rule.
@@amraceway 😂
Only if you've never driven anything else.
So many other possibilities with suspension you don't have to chase all over the road.
Cool body though 👌
@@Danger_mouse I guess a series one Discovery is as good as it gets chassis wise.
@amraceway I was thinking GQ Patrol.
Coil spring flex and ride, strong drive line with no known problems. Fit any engine you like 👍
the sound is bloody horrible
fine for me
Seems perfectly fine to me.
