RDA never turns down fights against anyone, even if its detrimental to his career. He fought Tony, Khabib and Usman when nobody wanted to. He takes short notice fights when he doesn't have to. He was even willing to fight Islam (and no I don't believe Islam ducked him, thats utter nonsense) when Islam was and still is having trouble finding top contenders to fight. RDA is a real BMF.
I feel like the UFC has consistently used RDA as a “test” for up and coming guys they want to promote. Glad he at least got to feel what it’s like to be a Champ for a little bit.
