I've loved the thought of having group of 5 playing in an FCS style playoff. Only downside is kids hitting the portal. It would be good for schools and most importantly it would be good for the FANS..... so it may never happen.

Folks are sleeping on the VT Defense, the DL in particular. Beyond APR and Peebles, we also picked up transfers from Oklahoma and Alabama and Kemari Copeland from Iowa Western is a beast. Went viral a few weeks ago with his 605lbx10 squat breaking the VT record. We also got a LB out the portal from Miami in Kaleb Spencer who is a great add next to Keli Lawson and Brumfield. Side note, Drones and Cam Ward are cousins and worked out a bunch in the offseason, so that VT-Miami game will be interesting for sure.
Business is business, I understand that. If you (anyone) drive’s a pickup truck with a trailer, or, a tractor trailer, QT is a hard pass on road trips. Love’s handles big vehicles/diesel pumps well with pretty solid cleanliness. Buccees won’t allow large vehicles, it’s the best stop for diesel on the road if you’re not too long/big trailer. QT is a good set up but only for cars, too small.
Also the G5 has been gutted from conference realignment. UCF, Cincinnati, TCU, Utah, SMU. A lot of teams that are now P4 that used to be top group of 5s

The new age of football will be one of pillaging successful smaller programs, but there needs to be a road for the have-nots in CFB to elevate their standing. Too many power 4 schools are only there because of state regents (looking at you Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Baylor, etc.) If we agree to kill the G5 autobid, can we at least discuss a form of relegation and promotion to reward the Tulanes and Boise States of the world. They should not rely on conference expansion to get a shot to improve their fortunes. How about punishing the ones who squander the extra revenue and prestige of being in a power 4 conference?
