Lawful to you are all beyond these-as long as you seek them with your wealth in a legal marriage, not in fornication. Give those you have consummated marriage with their due dowries. It is permissible to be mutually gracious regarding the set dowry. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.".... Meaning: so after war the women who were captives, Allah is telling it is FORBIDDEN to do fornification. if both mutually agreed they can consumate marriage and given full rights as wife to them, with due dowries.

Christianity also teaches modesty and in some churches women actually wear veils, fun fact. now regarding hurting women, I guess the only issue is that I don't think hitting is the answer despite what the women has done. even if she has rebelled, I don't think hitting her back is correct. as I said, for a religion that preaches peace, this form of violence is certainly not the answer. in Christianity Jesus teaches us to have mercy and be compassionate. we do not believe in feeding wrong with another wrong, even if the women has done something bad, hitting her is just adding on another wrong and it does not teach her to do better next time. instead it only builds more resentment and anger between men and women as a result! as Christians we believe in killing evil with kindness. that is a true religion that stands for peace in my opinion.

And then he added that he could divorce all his wives if he wanted to and get new ones. Is this how a supposed true prophet should treat his wives??? If you are looking you will find hundreds of discourses about it. I particularly like the graph that shows all the cross references in the Bible. The fact that a book written over the span of millennia can do consistently reference passages written hundreds of years before, the fact that cities have been unearthed based on the Bible, the dogged research that fails to disprove the Bible and so on support it. Do we have copyist errors caused by human hands, and mistranslations on some parts? Absolutely but we also have more copies of the Bible from different generations, different languages, and different hands that all say the same thing. A common reference an atheist of Muslim might use to disprove the Bible is that in the list of the kings that rules there is a copyist error where the king is listed to have ruled at two different ages. Do we throw out the whole Bible because of this one error? Absolutely not. The Bible is not purported to be written by God and therefore free from all error, it is the inspired word of God being carefully maintained by human hands that are absolutely capable of mistakes. The good thing is however because the people were so thorough you can cross reference parts and easily spot and understand mistakes. As for the king you find out his father died at an age that would make one of his ruling ages impossible and then you study how long his family had been ruling and learn that the number the copyist miswrote is actually the number of years of the dynasty not the kings age. So through the Bible you can confirm the truth and not be led astray but a minor mistake. Studying things like the Dead Sea scrolls which is one of our most ancient copies of the Bible’s let’s us see just how close we are to the same exact Bible people of that time we’re holding. It should also be noted that at no time in history was the Bible ever lost! Muslims live to brag that if every Quran was thrown into the ocean that the word would not be lost because it is memorized. While I would not limit the love of some Christians to say that no one has memorized it I can say with certainty that the world would have a heck of a time even trying to get rid of all of the Bible’s in the world as it is the best selling book of all time! All throughout the ages the Bible has been copied again and again, translated for each new country it was brought to and studied for its accuracy to the original. At no point in time was the Bible not in circulation. At no point in time did they not have an older copy to compare their originals to to ensure authenticity. When there are major disagreements about the word of God it is more often about what books to include as many books have not been accepted as the authentic word of God like the book of Enoch which was said to have been written not by Enoch or any of his contemporaries but even after the New Testament. You can see how it is hard to verify whether it is true prophesy when it is written after the prophesy would have come to pass and there is no evidence to support it was revealed before the prophecy was fulfilled. But yes we have copies of the Bible in original Greek, Aramaic and more from within a reasonable time of the life of Christ and since Christ confirms the Bible they had at the time you can be sure your Bible is the authentic word of God.

There's a miss translation there the verse doesn't say leave them and beats them the word in Arabic pronounced (اهجروهن /ihjerohen) which means tie them in there placelike they used to say this word hijar with animals like camels which means robe and logically how you can hit her after you leave her ,the miss translation says leave them in bed THEN beats them the actual Arabic meaning is tie them in the bed and beats them like you do to an animal

Here's the quran verse translated to English by M.M. Pickthall: Quran 29:27 and we bestowed on him ISAAC and JACOB and we ESTABLISHED THE PROPHETHOOD and THE SCRIPTURE among his SEED and we gave him his reward in the world and lo ! in the hereafter he verily is among the righteous .
Context: THE PROPHETHOOD and THE SCRIPTURE were given ONLY to the SEED of ISAAC, after ISAAC to JACOB and after JACOB to Jacob's SEED (descendant).
Muhammad was not a SEED (descendant) of JACOB, therefore, he has no BLESSINGS and AUTHORITY FROM GOD to be a Prophet !! According to ALLAH/GOD, ONLY descendant of JACOB after ISAAC and JACOB can be a prophet !!! SO, Muhammad was a FALSE prophet !!!

As an example, you asked this man if, in case of war, he would/could take your wife/mother as a slave and have intercourse with them and he said yes, where if you did some right research, you would know that muslims were never allowed to take civilians as prisoners, only women that fought on the battlefield, even so muslims were also not allowed to raise their swords against women and children. The women captured as slaves from the battlefield still had the right to pay an amount and be set free, the amount would be agreed between her and her master, as those times would function that way. In your comment you mention how Muslims commanded Jews and Christians to pay a tax, which was a nice way to solve it, as back then conquering cities was something everybody did, muslims would give the disbelievers 2 choices, join the Muslim army, or if you do not want to, you could pay a tax that was even less than the muslims payed, and you would have full rights,
