I gravity pick all the time. I pick up my guitar then put it down after seeing videos like this.
After watching this my guitar gained anti-gravity and flew out my window and into space.

Man, I found that picking idea in 2003 as a kid playing Metallica in a small town without internet, and never really found a place to use it. Interesting to see it so many years later in use.
I cannot wrap my mind around gravity picking. Any seasoned gravity pickers in the comments that can help me out on how this works please don’t hesitate to let me know! 😂
When writing this album, Dean and company thought back to Kevin Heiderich playing a sped up version of Doppleganger... and they took that personally.

Hey Dean, another fun video as always. Since you show us a lot of cool playing techniques could you show us how you play pinch harmonics the next time around (unless you already have and I missed it somehow)? I think that’s one of the techniques I’ve never really been able to get the hang of but also have never had any kind of formal instruction on how to do so.
I'll never forget seeing Archspire live for the first time and I had never heard of them before either, nor did I even know they were in the line up lol was a few years ago on chaos and carnage I believe with Carnifex, Winds of Plague, Oceano, maybe Chelsea Grin too?...regardless, was such a pleasant surprise.

That makes sense I allways wonder what all diffrent types of metal and extreme metal sound to the regular jackoffs , it actual propley is just to overwhelming, lol when I was like 15 back when CDs where extremely new , I had a tape recording of some metal bands to drive with my grandmother for lik 14-16 house to see my old man , looking back at it she handled it like a champ , she's really old , I found old people freak with distortion but she was a trooper hahaha

@Dean Lamb When you were demonstrating the gravity picking, is he picking the string with the pick, hammering on with his finger, and then upstroking the string with the pick directly from the position his finger lands when hammering? I couldn't quite see what was going on. Very cool effect though.

Oh the "fan of the band". I discover a lot of bands from tab released. I was playing new releases I never even heard a lot in 2020. An it was for the purpose of playing the most advanced stuff to push myself. So you fit the latter half.
