Nice video but this is half truth..if you have studied maths, there are other subjects like statistics, operation research etc. Which you study too. So, if you have option of going into Data science, data analytics and get job in IT too. So, want to say other than just research, teaching and government job you can apply for IT jobs too. Also, you can appear for Indian Statistical services if have studied statistics in graduation.
Ryt like I was so confused bcoz I was so sure that i read somewhere that we can opt for datascience further in our future after maths hons. And i wanna do tht i wanted to do cs but didn't got it
@@zeaagli I am into Datascience thats why can have this view. Actually, what I feel if you have specialisation in statistics, Mathematics it would be better to go into Data Science. I prefer kids doing Statistics/Mathematics Science/Computer Science in this order...Moreover Mathematcis also have elective/mandatory subjects like Operational Research and Statistics. So, go for Mathematic....you would do good in Data Science..All the best

You are wrong Bsc Msc and Phd mathematics is used in every fields.Aap agar usse theory ke nazar se kahli dekho ge to yahi hoga. Ha lekin hume maths is liye difficult lagata ha beacuse it is not studied in the the subject was developed.See Proffesor C.K Raju for more information.

Depends , it's total of 4 years but you can opt out any time like after 1, 2 , 3 year as well , if you complete 3 years you will get the degree , but if you complete 4 years you will get the degree with research

Course structure , peer ,brand value , placements: some of the IITs offer a course in applied mathematics whereas in major other top state universities you will see pure mathematics

@@psingh2047 gives preference to those colleges have maximum no of seats in your catagory and also follow this rule if not allotted any college in any round. I I am pursuing BSc maths from keshav mahavidyalay,Du don't continue in bsc maths totally theorem based degree nothing else not practical skill only graping theorem like class 9 PGT TGT etc theorem and also mention there are no more placement in maths . My personal advice to give first preference to your course then college and also watch reality of dehli University video on YT many students share their personal experience. DU is totally overhyped 🥲
