Nice Video, PudMoto, you are the The Gravy. Scotland and Ireland (North and South) have the most amazing biking roads within our grasp! The further North in Scotland the better and less crowded, the North Coast of N. Ireland and South of Dublin in Ireland, the less crowded they become and are totally epic. It Would be well worth the cost of the ferry to come over to Ireland for sure!
🤣🤣 Absolute legend mate! OH YEAH bet they just have incredible roads! Fortunate enough that I'm going to be up in Scotland in August riding the beautiful roads. NI sounds mega though!!
Absolutely not, also Cat and Fiddle is crap. 50 limits all the way down and solid white lines. Mortimers Road is much more fun, and then countless others in the Yorkshire dales.
Gonna have to agree, basically agree with all these throughout
Give the road from Grassington to Pateley Bridge a try... Then to Ripon, Masham and back to Hawes... Tried this a couple of weeks ago.
I'll definitely do this one! Love it up there!
Torside from Glossop to Woodhead pass and then also come off Woodhead up Holme Moss and down to Holmbridge, 50 roads but technical and maybe do it one way with the cam and being a good boy then the other way with no cam and have safe quick fun
Yeah we've done this road a fair few times, literally did it on my way home from snake pass
@pudmoto My brother lives in Stoke so I tend to have a blast in my 19yr old fiesta 😁
Hahahah thats class!
Pudmoto is the gravey lol another good one mate
Hahaha absolute legend mate!
Such an amazing road... Thanks for posting :)
No problem mate!! Wish it could be a touch faster but it's absolutely beautiful
I love this road. I'm yet to ride it on my bike but I love driving it. Also, thanks for calling it Snake Pass not Snakes Pass like I hear quite a lot of people saying 😂
I actually ended up calling it Worm pass hahaha. Yeah i made sure I was correct with spelling
@@pudmoto I commented before I got to the end, Worm Pass is much better haha
Hahahaha brilliant!
I went through snowdonia national park the other day, killed a 37 yearold wheel bearing on the way home but it was worth it, the views I saw along those roads was ridiculously beautiful, I really recommend exploring that area if you are ever around there, I did 200 miles that day.
Oh yeah, pudmoto is THE gravy. the good kind not the shit gravy that comes from those knock off oxo cubes.
Oh mate sometimes it is just worth it isn't it! Yeah i've just had to change all brakes and tyres plus rear wheel bearings haha. Also I agree! OXO ain't got nothing on me
@@pudmoto yep! Honestly I was surprised how easy the wheel bearings were, was only a 20 min job, easier than doing a chain!.
I'm going isle of wight for next week, Monday to Monday on the bike, but apparently it's going to rain but it will be worth it too, hopefully I'm back in time for your meet!
I'll make sure you're back in time buddy!!
@@pudmoto and this is why you are the gravy of all time.
I do try mate!
Hartside pass is the real deal ❤❤
Oh I'm so gonna do this!! Hartside has been mentioned a fair few times!
Out on Snake back on Woodhead. Don't know what it's like nowadays
Had a few mention Woodhead! Maybe worth a try!
Snake pass was my Dads favourite road as a trucker, his ashes are scattered there, mine on the other hand is the woodhead pass. Just haven’t managed to get the bike out there yet. Great vid mate 👍
Oh wow I tell you what mate that is an absolutely beautiful spot for your Dad! Big respect! Ooo woodhead pass! I'll have to check it out!
@@pudmoto it can be a busy road but the scenery is awesome 👌
I'd recommend the B6480 its the Bentham road off the A65 near Clapham, great road over the moors, good visibility through most of the corners, and best of all great tarmac (recently resurfaced).
Ooooo say no more! You had me at great tarmac (yes i'm aware that was the end of the comment) hahaha
A good road, Hebden Bridge to Howarth, or Mixenden to Oxenhope to Hebden Bridge. Both are a little short, but amazing fun and gorgeous sights.
Can vouch for Hebden to Howarth! Really nice road, only did it on my 125 but even that was great fun!
Pud come to Scotland to experience some real twisty roads
Yes truly amazing and many to choose from with incredible scenery added in on many of them, my 2 favourites are from Moffat to Selkirk, and the old military road Cairngorms
Be up in Bonny scotland in August on the bike mate! Will be passing through Killin one morning
Old military road in the cairngorms is absolutely stunning!
@@pudmoto well depending on where you stop pud I’ll let you have the Yamaha for the full day if you want to make some content
@@Mac-dx4rd I like the ride from Callander up to glen ogle then up to tyndrum I normally stop off at the greenwelly shop then I go up to Oban
Not the same road , that I remember from my childhood in the fifties and sixties, much of that now gone due to subsidence. road has been widened where it still holds to old track kerb stones white lines good tarmac a very different experience.. There used to be wide grass verges I mean wide wide enough to fly a kite in safety families from Sheffield and Manchester use to picnic and you were more likely to get blown away on the wind than be drowned out by traffic noise. Sheep would often end up on the road in front of you. That road has been sanitized and the wild ruggedness wrung out of it by twaty little hitlers in the highways department. it might be safer but at what cost.
Does sound like an absolute beauty of not just a road but a landscape has been destroyed. That's popularity for you though, the more people flock to a location to try it out, the sooner it will become tainted
You want a true bit of riding section get yerself upto Hartside Pass and let's see how you get on.
The best bit of road in the UK without doubt.
Oooooo i've been eyeing up hartside pass for quite a while now! Definitely be smashing that one very shortly!
Fusion did a Wales trip (8 part series) and quite a few of the roads there are pretty bussin my guy - Could always do a similar thing with the rest of the Puds!
I would absolutely love to do that one day! I think a similar thing around scotland too would be mega!
@@pudmoto would be absolutely sick mate, would also be sick to watch!
Going to have to try get it done then aren't I hahah
@@pudmoto Absolutely do!
It definitely isn’t the best road anymore but it is in the way to some of them 😂. Get your ride out sorted for the peaks and I’ll show thi!
Oooooo doesn't have to be the ride out matey! Can always meet and have a blast ourselves!
@@pudmoto I’ll drop you a mail mate.
Absolutely pal! You got my email?
@@pudmoto yup
Would you recommend doing this road on a 125?
Yeah I actually would!!! 125 would feel great!!! Especially cause its a 500
Winnats pass in the peak district is great but very slow and short!
Yeah heard a few similar ones like Hardknott being slow and short but brilliant
Without a bit of speed it looks a bit tame. The views are nice but nothing mind-blowing, they would look much better at a blurr..... Lythe Fell Road in the Forest of Bowland is one of my faves!
Ooooo I remember you mentioning forest of bowland and I am yet to try it out! Could be next on the list!
@@pudmoto well there isn't a forest but there are a nice mix of roads and I've yet to see a camera or copper
Say no more!!!!
🎉 I passed looking forward to ride outs probably be getting a proper bike at the start of next year
Ooooooo congratulations bud!!! What bike are you thinking?
@@pudmoto thanks I do really like MT-09 but Honda CB650R is a cheaper option 🤔
Yeah I was in a similar boat to be honest, think an mt 09 or similar next for me! Maybe a z900
@@pudmoto there’s a z900 in Brighouse super bikes 21 plate 0 miles just been sat in a living room looks really nice £8100
Its ok. Bit overrated. U need to be getting a move on to enjoy it. Couple years back it was resurfaced and they left loads of loose crap onit that wears itself in. Front became very twitchy.
Yeah fully agree mate, oh that does not sound like the best but at least you stayed on the bike!
PudMoto is the gravy uhhhhhh 😏🤣, the last set of temp lights deffo had no roadworks it must be as you say to control speed! I have a hatred for roadworks haha the worst are those douchebags that put up 4 way lights when they are working on the path!! btw you also caught a bloke taking a slash or a wank in the hedge 😂
Whaaaaat! I totally missed that! How far into the video???
Must be 20 roads better just in Scotland...
Absolutely! Can't wait to try them out
Haven't watched, but no. Snake pass is a pretty lame road, very scenic, but not much else going for it. Speed limit is too low, too many police, too many dickheads who think its what it used to be. Much better roads if you cross over to wales, I take the bike over at least once a year. Also much better roads throughout the peaks rather than wasting your time there, unless you're already passing through its pointless as a destination to ride to.
I basically agree with every point you just made in the video haha
Its not actually that great tbh
I know! Was a bit of a let down
B6105 from Glossop check it out
I absolutely will do!
