Was the Everglades part of the Seabase adventure or was that something you added while you were there. All in all what did you think of your trip do you wish you would have done one of the other adventures at Seabase
Hey Melissa, the Everglades was separate. We hit it on the way back after our time at Seabase. Personally, I thought the trip was great and I think the boys really enjoyed it. When we first heard that we got the island adventure it was a bit of a downer because I think that some people wanted to do the boat for the week. My son was just saying that he was getting a bit sea-sick on the fishing trip so I don't think we could have done a week of the other adventure. There were tents set up but they were too hot to stay in, make sure you take hammock and mosquito netting although I don't know what's available to hang your hammock from after the hurricane. We lucked out and were there a couple of months before that rolled through so I don't know what it's like now. A couple of the kids on this trip did the boundry waters in Northern Minnesota last summer and said it was fun but the sea base adventure was more of a vacation. It was expensive but a great trip. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
the hammerhead scream has meme potential
