Thanks for the preview and it is extremely helpful. Since you can't ride on the Expressway, I understand why it was a similar course. I see the Western part doesn't include the section up to Delilah Rd. Does anyone know if this is accurate for the Eastern turns at Baltic Ave?

About the scariest ride I’ve ever seen. I already signed up.

Yes, horrible course. You are separated by a few cones with cars going 70mph in the lane next to you, and the shoulder is often full of debris. Add in for Olympic it is a multi-lap course so it is crowded. Horrible location for nationals. (And this lovely bike is after swimming in the diesel fuel and muck filled back Bay🤮

@@juliannenoonan2646the AC Triathlon has been going strong for 15 years and they've also hosted half and full distance races on this same course over the years. To my knowledge, there's never been a crash involving a car. Nationals tomorrow will be my 7th time riding a variation of this course and I've never felt in danger because of the traffic. Other riders being idiots is another story, but that can happen at any race. If you just quit belly aching and ride, you'll likely be in for a PB because this course is fast.

This is actually not the Nationals bike course, its the Atlantic City triathlon bike course. This is missing about 2.5 miles that are part of the far end turnaround in western AC. The Atlantic CIty course that you filmed here is 22 miles, not the 40km that is Nationals.

You’re right. I surprised myself during nationals the course on the western end was different. Don’t know why they opted for including speed bumps and extra turn arounds. I was in the very first wave and it was so foggy. Couldn’t see! Apparently the next few waves were postponed until the fog dissipated?
