@calastiur This is original Doom/Death metal like you said. It can be considered Death Metal since it can be slow and heavy as fuck, but it also has that gloomy feeling and gloom rhymes with doom so HA! Plus there was a major movement of Death Doom from England and Paradise Lost kinda pionerred that. Lots of good bands check out: Prophecy of Doom, Anathema, My Dying Bride, Enchantment, Esoteric.
Tortured solos like coming from hell... the darkest melodies... the heviest riffs... growls like from satan himself... All Doom/Death is contained in Paradise Lost's first record. They did it all back then!
@calastiur Both albums are great that you named Dance of December Souls is my number 1 doom album for sure. Listen to October Tide's new album it sounds pretty badass even without Jonas in it
I listen heavy metal since I was 10 years old, I listen bands like Candlemass, King Diamond, etc they are all melodic, but this... this genre sounds like shit.
