The corner before the Loop, is actually called Village 😂. Turn 2 is farm curve. Turn 3 is village followed by the loop
Silverstone equals JackSucksAtLife’s literal life description, cause he lives in a village (I think).
Oh nuts, I guess I was looking at a bad map. I usually don’t use all the corner names, but I thought I would give it a try. I’ll either have to do more research next time or just do it my old way😅. So many tracks and so many corners.

Thanks for the vid ME; this is a great help. The hairpin after the first turn is where I lose a lot of time; I can see now how to take that turn correctly. Great run BTW; that was a beauty! 👍
That’s great, I’m glad my video helped! That is also the worst corner for me. At least half of my attempts ended right there. I put in about 100 tries to get this time.😅
@@ME7_RR3. Just curious ME…what sensitivity do you use for this car? I’m having a terrible time with it - I have the same car, fully upgraded, and I’m barely into group C. I’m a full 5 seconds behind you. How is that even possible? Man, do I suck at time trials or what… 😢
@@larrybeavens7580 Currently, I am set on 1. Just a few months ago. My standard setting was 2 and had been that way for a couple of years. Sensitivity can be a personal thing, not necessarily a right answer. In general lower sensitivity will give you more control. However, years ago there’s no way I could be driving with the sensitivity I currently do. If you do change your sensitivity, I would not change it by more than 2 digits at a time.

There isn’t necessarily a best version, it’s whatever works best for you. The 2 views shown in this video are definitely the 2 most popular. I always use chase view, the one at the bottom of the screen. “Bonnet view” is the top one, usually a bit of hood showing.
@@ME7_RR3I used to think I was holding myself back when using the onboard camera then I switched to Chase view and I got worse😅 I guess it all depends on preference although it was mighty difficult to drive the 919 hybrid evo with onboard camera but now I've gotten used to it and its the most satisfying car to drive like so.
@@lovelehstuff It was the same for me. It took me a couple of weeks to get used to but at one point I just blew me lap times compared to onboard camera. Usually I am around 1 to 2 seconds slower now using onboard camera (sometimes I try it to see how fast I can go with it). For me chase view is the way to go to really maximize the track limits.
Today is a great day because i improved my time from 1:08,9 to 1:08,617 (Mercedes)

If you’re talking about the Monza time trial last year that ME7 did a video on, he did it not knowing what the track for this event was going to be.
I found it very interesting that some people brake at Becketts and others brake at Chapel
I don’t really feel comfortable braking at Becketts, while I found Chapel is a better braking point for me
There’s something missing there. Chapel is the very last corner of the esses, the exit. You definitely don’t want to brake there is that would kill your speed run. It’s also impossible to drive it that far without sliding off track. I believe you mean Maggots. That’s the first corner heading into the esses. There are definitely a lot of cars that I have to brake there, but never at Chapel in any car.

@@GoldenChen_screen_recording you are not wrong in that Chapel is turn 14. I thought you were confusing it with turn 11. I apologize.
I would strongly recommend you don’t brake at 14. Even if you have to give up a little bit more speed a turn 13 it’s worth your while. I do sometimes get back to the throttle just a little bit later so that I don’t go off track at turn 14.
If it was in the middle of a race then I would definitely choose braking versus going off track. In a time trial, I’ll just start over until I get it just right.
I don't understand how you later apply the brake and keep a high speed in a turn, and the car doesn't even slide. I'm constantly sliding over your braking points
There are a lot of factors at play. What’s even more shocking as I’m still 0.847 behind the best driver! That means he took the very same corners, even faster than I did. Firstly, my breaking points are meant as a reference. Maybe try backing each one up a full car length and see what that does for you. Let’s get into those factors.
For my braking point and acceleration points to work, you have to be on the exact same point of the track, aimed in the exact same direction, start your turn exactly when I started mine and start braking point at the exact same speed. That’s a lot of variables! That’s why I would suggest backing up the breaking points a bit and then you can adjust them as you find the sweet spot. Always better to brake a little bit too early than a little bit too late.

I am at rank C currently and all these runs look like illegally fast dude. Any tips on how to get better? Currently on low braking and low steering assists and TC off. Also is there any major difference with turning steering assist off?
I managed to get in the top 1000s but was knocked out yesterday😅. Set steering sensitivity to 0 and switch off every assist. Start the lap conservatively then push the limits after each lap
Hey there! I found this very cool and helpful. Though, I would like to know the steering sensitivity for no steer assists. My times are about 1:12-ish but on low steer and everything off (sens. is about 3-4) + RB19. Thanks for the video, was very nice and informative!
I have all of my assists off. I’ve known some good drivers who still used steering assist low for time trials. Steering assist high will wreck many proper race lines. I don’t think steering assist low is a problem except for maybe Porsche test track and COTA.
Steering sensitivity varies a lot from person to person. In general you’ll find top racers will use a lower sensitivity, but I do know of at least one Group A drivers who uses sensitivity 10.
For years now my standard setting was 2, I just recently moved it down to 1. My general advice is when you turn steering assists off, increase your sensitivity by 2 or 3 from wherever it was. Then adjust it just one notch at a time and see what that does for you.

@@gezercorrea2980 go to settings where you choose different control options and there’s an option to calibrate the device. It’s the first option on your left. If that doesn’t help, you should do a cloud save, delete the game and reinstall it. If that doesn’t help, then it’s something with the device.
Can I do the same with the Ferrari
Yes, but it will depend on your skill level. That’s true for the Red Bull as well. I see some top times set in the Ferrari. Ferrari and Red Bull are VERY close in specs.

You can also watch peoples runs from the same menu screen. I haven’t had any other problems myself. Check to see if your devices operating system has the most recent updates.
