I'm glad my bicep didn't explode
New exploding biceps shirt?
Me too mate, me too.😅
If it did, the force generated would probably create new big bang
I hope you do well in PL
Clarence is the type of guy to explode his knees on log clean.
Harry squatter and the atlas stone
Jack Of All Trades dont let our boy share the fate of Larry Wheels. Stay safe king
He looks like Quagmire after he just discovered internet pr0n
he'd clean and jerk the stone anyway
👏 👏 Amazing

i dont get it

I just want Tom to know that I appreciate the pound to kg translation.
Yeah me too. Keep it up Tom.
YES YES YES
If you want to know a trick to convert pounds to kg, do this:
Half the amount of pounds and then subtract ten percent from that halved numbers. Example:
120 (pounds) divided by 2 = 60 (10 percent of 60 is 6) 60 - 6 is 54.
120 pounds is 54 kilos.
It works the other way around if you want to convert kg to pounds (double, then add ten percent of doubled number)
very true!
@@harryruffin1548 that's very handy thank you. Didn't learn that in school oddly enough

Clarence: "I just need a break" *squats
😂😂
I'd just like to imagine squatting is clarences blankie. He goes to it when he's feeling down
Dude so strong his neck is a mixture of 50% beard and 50% traps
The beard matter because it obviously gives an advantage no question
It's what you use to position the log on your face for the appropriate finisher position.
Finisher is also the appropriate term, because when you drink more beer than a mere mortal and call for your woman, she'll recall where you had that much weight and ask you to finish her.
Ahmad Brkam unfortunately it’s gear. But still have so much respect
That's basic science
If Clarence pick a coin from the floor , he probably do it with a snatch
Yeah lol and it would have a wip sound at the end
This made me laugh more than I'd like to admit.
how???? HOW?!?!?
In another video on this channel in the same garage they trying to do zerchers and juji asked him if he can turn a zercher into a snatch and he did it was mind blowing .
So Clarence is gonna be filming with Juji for a few days, guess I'm gonna have to watch them all...
@Scott Adam party pooper
That was the fastest a 20 minute video has ever felt. Love it.
I know right lol
Clarence is just such an amazing elite athlete. His strength carries over perfectly to pretty much every fitness challenge he comes across.
Never forget when Clarence pulled 300kg on sumo on his first try.
Edit: lmaooo people really arguing about sumo and conventional. like, who cares which stance you pull. pulling anything 2,3,4 times your bodyweight, regardless of stance is already an impressive feat in it of itself.
Lol that's crazy
Any link? Send me pls i wanna see
@Tyler Vincent It's for people that have too big balls to pull classic.
@Tyler Vincent ...Because of too big balls.
@Tyler Vincent If classic pullers have bigger balls, then how can they close legs like that?
Klokov failed 130 kg log press when he first tried he was also pretty surprised how different it is... And then theres Eddie Hall strict pressing 230kg log press lol.
yeah dude it's take some time to learn a new movement for your nervous system.
Yeah if eddie had olympic weightlifting traing i think he would rival lasha like jay cutler did ronie coleman
Or Larry Wheels after a few attempts with Thor 203 kg log I think which is insane

Uncle Nic from Neverstate
I thought he was like a jacked Binging w Babish
Kinda sounds like him too
Juji looks like a freaking king cobra with his lats when he presses the log
I like this type of collab
Strong mean shows Olympic lifters something.
Clarence is the fastest learning athlete I've ever seen on YT.
He seems the type of dude that would learn a new move one day and in the next hour conduct a seminar about it to a hundred noobs.
Clarence- strong enough to do it wrong!
That log explanation was so good. Good instructor
I love moments like 11:14 when mortals realize that Clarence is not one of them
Exactly haha
Farmers walk best and most underrated strongman exercise.
Honestly think I'm going to replace all my lower body stuff with those and front squats.
@@tooltoad1974 With straps? Cause I feel farmers only on my grip
@@chrism45 I've done tree work my whole life and it got me insanely strong (by non weightlifting standards) I was able to deadlift 420 the first time I tried it at 195 lbs bodyweight and I got there lifting logs all day and doing a mix of clean and press, high rep bench, push-ups and pullups. I got into the big 3 too strong for my in good if that makes sense man. I'm hurt right now and honestly a little discouraged.
@@chrism45 I like farmers walks because it mimics manual labor alot and works the legs just as well imo.
Definitely atlas stones.
hey juji I hope that getting older and not quite as powerful isnt getting you down. I think you are a great, grounding part of the fitness community which is more than really any strong rando can do.u the man (and tom too)
I wanna see Devon and clarence together
+ climbing with magnus
you perv
Like... having sex? Okay then.
Yeah, with devon, clarence, magnuss, haftor, larry whells, btc, some grip athlets, eddie hall, nick strenght and power, obama, and joe
devon and clarence? doing what exactly
These guys are all insanely strong. Can you imagine that there are people that do 200+ kg's on a logpress?
Clarence looks like Quagmire after he found internet pr0n for the first time lol
*right arm
I look away for a couple months and all of a sudden there's a random Telander in the video. This is the most ambitious crossover in history.
every video of clarence trying new lifts is just a showcase on how much of an absolute freak the dude is
There should be a series
"Clarence's first time..."
The strongman dude has huuuuuge traps, damn
@luke g "everyone's on steroids"
luke g probably also got something to do with him lifting heavy objects
luke g anyone can build traps like that from lifting naturally. Especially strongmen
luke g most people think things like that are unattainable naturally but they’re not. No reason to act superior to anyone. We all know that 90% of all professional athletes are on some type of PED
@luke g try carrying heavy weights for long periods of time you'll get traps like his with out anything. "Gear" gives you big traps because you can carry more weight you dont magically get big muscles from any supplement you have to put in work. If you lock out a heavy deadlift properly you'll feel your lower traps fire and if you hold it you upper traps will start burning
Clarence will be good at anything.
I am so glad all these guys are friends.
He's not only brutally stronk, he is also

I rewatched the video with Clarence, Juji and Tom sent to a meet at a farm. The chemistry between Juji and horses seems to strong! When will we see Juji on a horse?
yes
Uncle nick - I don’t think he’d get a no rep.
Clarence - why?
Uncle nick - because it’s strongman
One of my favorite lifts is the log press. Looks easy, but is very technical! Log press and yoke carry!
The way Clarence cleaned that log was hilarious hahaha. He just cleaned it like it was a bar!
I can push a 400 lb log, but it's not overhead, it comes out of somewhere else, my ass, man that takes a few pulls of the handle to flush
Golden
😂😂😂
Thank you for more videos!!! I'm laid up this weekend just had knee surgery Thursday.
my favorite thing about youtube is looker for specific things and finding lifters and motivation from clarence and zack and due to increase in popularity juji and tom bring them in to due some great stuff
Omg this has been the most helpful video I have seen so far!!! All the other videos I’ve seen never provided those good bits like breathing and how to use the hip drive. Great team up!
The parallel grip doesn't help the power jerk, in a normal power jerk you would push through and internally rotate the shoulders but you reach a good lock cause of the grip. The lock isn't there with the log. Also the distance between the grips is the same for everyone so for a short guy with short arms and torso the log will rest higher and than Zack's low log. Zack has a lot of distance to clean and his hips are higher than the log which makes it even harder. Huge guys need the power belly or to create one by bracing on the log or else it's not happening.
Yeah I know I'd feel a lot less stable with the neutral grip, interesting that Clarence said it felt fine
I’ve been DIEING to see Clarence do strongman stuff 🤙🏻
3 mins in and that's the best explanation so far .I need a log
I've found the "elbow high" technique before the clean doesn't work well as a little guy, it just slides down everytime I try to stand up. Keeping the log low and doing a standing hip thrust has always worked well for me.
That's how babies are made...
Combining a log and a snatch😀
Thanks Tom and Juji for another great video I learned a bunch on this one
If you want to see a weightlifter do this at a higher level, check out Aleksey Lovchev. 170kg Log Clean and Jerk, 210kg Axle Clean and Jerk, 80kg one-handed kettlebell snatch, etc.
Still looking through telescope in hopes of finding the spectacle of Tom's rocket propelled spectacles from the previous video...spect to find them soon and yes, it's gonna be spectacular.
I think the best event if you wanted to directly compare weightlifters to strongmen would be sandbag throwing. It's a pretty simple motion that weightlifters are already strong at and really tests explosiveness. You could have Lasha vs Thor right now and it would be as fair a comparison of strength as you could get.
lol that lifter looks like Badger from Breaking Bad
It may be sad but i really do look forward to these videos like i do my weekly anime.
Thank you for this video. I made my own log lift and have been looking for a reliable training video.
I hope to meet you both at The Arnold 2020
Man, anything Clarence touches turns to gold
clarence: I just have no energy
guy: you did just do a shit-ton of flips
Uncle Nic is such a good coach. Dude deserves more love!
LOL THE LOG PRESS SQUAT JERK IS SOMETHING I DIDN’T KNOW I WANTED TO SEE AND IT’S MAGNIFICENT!
Clarence Kennedy and the philosopher's stone
Book cover is him bent over looking constipated holding a giant ass, glowing stone, in the strong man pedestal lifting position.
Did not expect to see Lyu Xiaujun mentioned in a Juji and Rom video!
Freaking awesome video yet again!
Would be cool if one day they went to a Chinese gym or even the national training centre to do videos with those guys! Their reactions to a freak like Shi Zhiyong would be priceless
Loving my men Clarence and Zack, power+humility gets me every time.
Did you know Clarence is featured in the new pokemon game? Message Clarence at instagram.com/clarencekennedy_ when you find it!!!
4 months till Melton gets 5k maybe
Are you fucking serious?
Wait what?? How is clarence featured in Sword and Shield lol

Uncle Nic said that log can be used for many things, but I didn't see any Zercher lifts in there
Modify a strongman's log with the grip rollers for an extra grip workout?
Video by Juji & Tom 35 seconds ago? Well, that's fortunate! :D
You wont be abled to do that with 100more pounds
Clarence : visible doubt
Love it when my heros come together (Zack AND Clarence on juji and tom? sick)
I need to see Clarence ' the earth is too easy to lift ' Kennedy at Barbell brigade with Bart Kwan
Why isn't Zacks channel linked in bio? Just curious
oops forgot thanks :)
That why in Oly lifting double dip is a red light on a jerk if you over occelate the bar , some really smart lifters still work around it and use it to their benefit. Kurlovich used to jerk so fast after his cleans they looked damn near like a thruster. It just shows how difficult the log is where Clarence has cleaned 230kgs.
Juji, when are you making your WWE debut? I expect you to wear this exact outfit.
360 NOSCOPE, shit had me rolling loool
Radioactive Radishes gave Clarence super powers.
I PR'd yesterday and finally got 165x1 for a strict press after cleaning it. That Mufu Hi-C POWA was flowing through my veins
This taught me a lot. Thank you
Marvel: 'Avengers Infinity War is the most ambitious crossover event in history'
Juji: Hold my preworkout
Love how they both look like they rolled out of they’re sleeping bag and started training... that’s the dream tbh
This looks like so much fun! Would love to try this.
It is the technique. The log is almost designed to not stay in the line with the body. Once it rolls, you need to make sure it rolls away from your feet. There is no saving.
Good idea, inviting Uncle Nic. That guy looks to know some stuff. 💪👈
The casual shoulder shrugs from Clarence while he is hold hundreds of pounds of weight is insane
Clarence and zack doing strongman, being taught by uncle Nick in GymFort??? Greatest fucking anime i have ever seen
I don't know why, but my favorite juji/Tom videos are when Zach and Clarence are on at the same time.
Martins , devon , clarence and magnus in a relaxing Backyard BBQ video is what I'm waiting for .
Oh yeah bring back the Highland Games guy to do the barbecue I still watch that video and Drool on occasion
11:44 Nic says "pinch that log" haha
The title is like me saying i'm going to quit smoking for weed.
Juji wants to see what his "JERK" feels like
Watching this from Montpellier I'm thinking Clarence would be wise to research the effect on the body in later life from his over stressing of his joints and connective tissue! We see in our hospital the end result of A.c. joint and knee joints damage!
Uncle nic need some triceps 5:22
Your a squater, Clarey.
This was really interesting! I learned so many things.
15:46 Clarence knows how to hitch a snatch .
How would that “super max load” translate to say preparing for an attempt at a powerlifting meet? Is there any literature or research on it?
That's part of the reasoning behind things like heavy rack pulls
danehb89 yes but what about say right before an attempt?
E-Tron thanks! I’ve done pyramids leading into the working sets but the final single would be like ~90% of the working weight, never thought of doing ~90% of my 1rm though. Might have to look into doing that as I could imagine it would prepare your cns better as the following weight will feel like significantly lighter in comparison
Are the handles the same width on every log?
17:07 nothing to say, just watch
I'd love to see juji try Olympic lifting
Man Nic is a natural at teaching
