- Now y'all know what I mean when I say a decision was based on feel.
The Roaring Kitty channel revolves around educational live streams where I share my daily routine of tracking stocks and performing investment research.
My investment style involves continually tracking thousands of stocks using a variety of widely available tools. When opportunity strikes - as it occasionally does in markets comprised of biased humans - I’m prepared to pounce and capitalize on the situation. I'm probably best classified as a fundamentals-focused deep value investor, though I find I'm increasingly leaning on technical analysis for screening, timing, and tracking stocks. In the years ahead I look forward to honing my portfolio management approach by acquiring bolt-on skillsets and further developing my approach to risk management.
Some of the tools I use: Google Chrome, Chrome extensions & search engines, Google Sheets / Google Apps Script / StackOverflow, StockCharts, insider buying via OpenInsider, stock ownership via WhaleWisdom, SEC filings via sec.gov, SeekingAlpha, Twitter, Quandl / Sharadar, and bond prices via FINRA.

Hedge funds are gonna go doing research on the guy that beat them, and they’re gonna find this video of a dude pulling Uno cards. This is absolutely beautiful.
I noticed the uno deck in his picture in WSJ! I was like, "man, you'd think he'd clean up his desk a bit for the pic", but now I realize that was a god tier insult to injury easter egg

tbh people were already buying GME before DFV, people like Michael Burry actually had already been bullish on GME for a while, DFV just brought it to the masses, and tbh even the masses to this day hold a very small percentage of the overall shares of GME, that puts into perspective just how tiny we all are compared to the 1% that even dozens of us YOLOing on a single stock still barely gets us above 20% of all stocks for a business.
DFV has like 50,000 some shares of GME, but Michael Burry has MILLIONS and currently sits on over 552 million dollar returns it's a massive difference, if the price doubles then Burry is literally able to make 1 billion off of GME alone

But yeah it makes me nervous, everyone pitching this as a revolution. More power to you but you're going to get my livelihood banned. It's just a trade. GameStop is gonna do an offering, and everyone who's been in this will sell into you whenever it spikes and/or loses momentum, and both are exactly right. They're not betraying whatever your cause is; some are just trying to eat.
The SEC will end their investigation after watching this video.

You should exercise caution when it comes to your exposure and be sceptical of new purchases. Only with the guidance of a competent or trustworthy advisor are high yields in this current market attainable.
A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.

What the fuck I absolutely love this guy, regardless of knowing anything about the last couple weeks. Especially love this video having watched his 1 hr deep dive from July where he explains every facet of why he sees GME as a seriously undervalued stock, and how meticulous he is about his analysis. I’m a fan for life and none of it has to do with the GameStop ordeal - it’s all about how incredibly nice he is, and how intelligent and likeable he is.

I know at some point a bull market ends and a bear begins, it goes on and on...I have a 7 figure ballpark goal and I intend spreading across maybe 50k - 150k on plummeting stocks, my question is how can I know when a market bottom has been reached?

Chose quality stocks and follow them up. If you're not one for such complexities, hire a wealth manager to grow your money. I use the latter.
@@blaquopaqueYou're right, I and a few Neighbors in Bel-Air Area work with an advisor who prefers we DCA across other prospective sectors. Instead of a lump sum purchase, Following this, my portfolio grew by close to 30% in the last quarter.

I'm very cautious about giving specific recommendations as everyone's situation varies. Consider independent financial advisors like "JENNIFER LEIGH HICKMAN" I've worked with her for 9 years and highly recommend her. Check if she meets your criteria.

I totally agree!! Playing the part RUclips is really just part of his mastermind strategy! Needs to publicly create doubt for potential Jurors that he could have any influence to manipulate markets or that he’s done anything illegal, but in actuality, he’s a brilliant mastermind and his tweets and posts and videos do have the ability to move a stocks price, while I believe staying close enough within that grey area that makes it too difficult to say he’s actually broken any laws or regulations.

@@sebbell3345 He wasn't just lucky, he did the homework, thousands of hours of DD and planning, ruling out thousands of other stocks through analysis and weighing their risk/reward vs GME, and understanding of the market built through 10+ years of experience. Even without WSB, GME would likely have gone way up due to Ryan Cohen's transformation of the company

@@Photosounder he already cashed out $13 million on options based on his updates and I doubt GME was his only position. Even with the losses last week his stock is still worth another $8.5 million. He definitely got lucky in some ways but you can't deny this guy totally deserves the success he has had. His 18 months of research and due diligence has paid off making him enough for 18 lifetimes.
What's amazing about this guy is that he believed in this stock when nobody else did. Sure more people started getting on the gme stonk train when they heard about the shorts, but this man truly believed in it and held through. That's some damn inspiration. I learned a lot just from his character. Really motivates me to try working on my videos after giving up so many times.
I went from taking this man so seriously to laughing so hard about halfway through. Legend.

Not hard, though. If you bought and held the SPY or QQQ, you'd outperform the hedge funds too. Really they're just influence peddling, blood sucking pieces of garbage.
The problem with hedges is their huge capital. They can't focus on a single stock like determined retailers do, so their returns are smaller, percentage wise. That Bogles book about ''near impossible to outperform index'' is for primary school students.
