I hate the new logo. All though to be fair, I probably liked the original, because 1, they used different colors. And 2, they had some sparkle to it, and as a girly girl, I love sparkle. As an adult, I can kind of see the sparkles represented as magic, because it’s Disney.

I remember in middle/high school I had posters and pictures of the Jonas Brothers ALL OVER my bedroom walls. It was a bit odd, but I loved them so much.

It is incredible how disney channel has changed , they do not make crossovers anymore , I have not watched the disney friends for change a lot of time ago, ( and I think the reason is that shows of now aren't so good) It's not hate for kids of now , but in my simple opinion disney channel was excellent since 2000 until 2018 , it felt more magical and all that stuff , I grew up watching the suite life on deck , hannah montana , wizards of waverly place , sunny with a chance , good luck charlie , shake it up, a.n.t farm , jessie , austin and ally , liv and maddie , girl meets world and kc undercover . those shows were , better said are pretty good , execellent shows , I do not understand what happened to disney channel and my favourite movies are descendants , lemonade mouth , high school musical , camp rock among others . I am not giving up hope that disney channel will be good again . by the way I am 15 years old in a few months I will be 16

Facts it's honestly really sad like the kids today aren't growing up with the good shows and they will never know how good Disney used to be and experience all the crossovers, games and the music videos that used to play during commercials. Imo Disney went downhill after 2016 and then it died. The only show that I'll consider watchable is Raven's home other than that everything is shit. And I'm also 15 turning 16 this year. : )

Kenny Ortega is amazing hes worked on julie and the phantoms, decendants 1,2 and3 , high school musical 1,2 and 3 and dirty dancing which are all so good and my fav show and movies
growing up in Canada in the early 2000s we technically didnt have a actual disney channel yet but we had family channel it was are disney channel until the channel finally came in 2015 but i remember for years i would watch wand ID compilations here on youtube then when i saw a wand id on tv for the first i thought was so cool yea in 2015 i just turned 20 but i always dreamed of the day disney channel came to Canada i never thought it would ever happen though but it did when it first started airing here i had on for the first 3 month it was here
the only reason i started watching Riverdale was cuz of Cole Sprouse. I'm a huge Miley fan and i'm definitely a huge fan of Selena and Demi since their respective shows started. Somehow, those three had the best comedic timing and their charm as well as their talents shone through the screen. I was a JoBros fan before they became too heavily associated with Disney, but i definitely became a big fan after their series dropped. I'm a huge fan of the HSM films and Ashley Tisdale's music and Zac Efron's films. Lemonade Mouth was a monumental film with a brilliant soundtrack performed by Disney Channel alums Haley Kyoko and Bridget Mendler. I love Bridget's music as well as her hit show Good Luck Charlie. Dove Cameron has proven herself to be quite the actress and singer and the Sprouse Twins' Suite Life franchise is probably the best thing to come out of Disney Channel.
Back then I ignored Ashley Tisdale's music but recently I've given some of it a listen and realized that she had slappin music. By ignored, I mean I was aware she had a music career but never went out of my way to listen to the songs, and I was only aware of 2 of her songs, He Said She Said and Be Good To Me.

I watched both Lizzie McGuire AND Wizards Of Waverly Place so I win. No but MY personal Disney era as in the time I religiously watched the channel was from Even Stevens/Lizzie McGuire to around 2009 so I experienced Even Stevens, Lizzie McGuire, That's So Raven, Kim Possible, The Proud Family, Phil Of The Future, Dave The Barbarian, Brandy & Mr. Whiskers, American Dragon Jake Long, Hannah Montana, Wizards Of Waverly Place, High School Musical, Cheetah Girls, Lilo & Stitch The Series, The Emperor's New School, The Suite Life Of Zack & Cody, The Replacements, Disney 411, The Disney Channel Games, Stuck In The Suburbs, Mike's Super Short Show, Zenon, Circle Of Stars and loved reruns of Bug Juice and The Thirteenth Year among other things. I loved the retro theme they had going on and the old Disney Channel website was top tier as well, especially the layout and games. I was also a huge fan of Toon Disney and watched it just as much as Disney Channel, I would come home after school and watch actual Disney movies they aired like A Goofy Movie, The Land Before Time, Atlantis, etc. I would even wake up in the middle of the night to watch Teacher's Pet at like 2 in the morning. Other shows include Timon & Pumbaa and Legend Of Tarzan.
I used to watch this channel every morning before going to school and my favourite shows were That's so Raven and Hannah Montana. I became Hannah's biggest fan and had tons of memorabilia
Yes, every era thinks that their shows were the best. However, someone once said that the target audience of Disney Channel shows today are younger children. I think the late 90s and early 2000s DC shows were the best because they were targeted at pre-teens and teens. I’m 29 and I still watch some of these shows!
Everything about Disney was always great for sure till it started to fall. Saying that anything is a lifetime would mean it's taking over your life. Looking back on an hour of need that is a hard time is a positive thing to do. A true Disney fan would be able to tell the difference between reality to fiction. Those who were or are still well-known would have left a remarkable impact on their fanbase.

I am not in the age demographic for a lot of these Disney Channel movies & shows however I will openly admit that I rock out & work out to both High School Musical & Camp Rock. Not ashamed of this. Also re: Cole Sprouse I remember him as Ross’s son on Ben on Friends which is why I watched Suite Life Of Zack & Cody. I have yet to watch Riverdale but have been meaning to.
I created a theory that almost every live action Disney channel and a couple of Disney XD series are connected by all the crossovers, the Z-Phone, and Mr. Hashimoto. The biggest connection is the Halloween crossover episodes. The connected shows are: Wizards of Waverly Place, The Suite Life, Hannah Montana, That's So Raven, Jessie, Best Friends Whenever, Ant Farm, Boy Meets World/Girl Meets World, K.C Undercover, Austin and Allie, Liv & Maddie, Lab Rats, and Mighty Med. There might be some that I missed or forgot, but there all connected.

growing up in Canada in the early 2000s we technically didnt have a actual disney channel yet but we had family channel it was are disney channel until the channel finally came in 2015 but i remember for years i would watch wand ID compilations here on youtube then when i saw a wand id on tv for the first i thought was so cool yea in 2015 i just turned 20 but i always dreamed of the day disney channel came to Canada i never thought it would ever happen though but it did when it first started airing here i had on for the first 3 month it was here
the only reason i started watching Riverdale was cuz of Cole Sprouse. I'm a huge Miley fan and i'm definitely a huge fan of Selena and Demi since their respective shows started. Somehow, those three had the best comedic timing and their charm as well as their talents shone through the screen. I was a JoBros fan before they became too heavily associated with Disney, but i definitely became a big fan after their series dropped. I'm a huge fan of the HSM films and Ashley Tisdale's music and Zac Efron's films. Lemonade Mouth was a monumental film with a brilliant soundtrack performed by Disney Channel alums Haley Kyoko and Bridget Mendler. I love Bridget's music as well as her hit show Good Luck Charlie. Dove Cameron has proven herself to be quite the actress and singer and the Sprouse Twins' Suite Life franchise is probably the best thing to come out of Disney Channel.
Back then I ignored Ashley Tisdale's music but recently I've given some of it a listen and realized that she had slappin music. By ignored, I mean I was aware she had a music career but never went out of my way to listen to the songs, and I was only aware of 2 of her songs, He Said She Said and Be Good To Me.
I just now realized that the mom in Camp Rock is also the mom for Wizards of Waverly place 😅

I watched both Lizzie McGuire AND Wizards Of Waverly Place so I win. No but MY personal Disney era as in the time I religiously watched the channel was from Even Stevens/Lizzie McGuire to around 2009 so I experienced Even Stevens, Lizzie McGuire, That's So Raven, Kim Possible, The Proud Family, Phil Of The Future, Dave The Barbarian, Brandy & Mr. Whiskers, American Dragon Jake Long, Hannah Montana, Wizards Of Waverly Place, High School Musical, Cheetah Girls, Lilo & Stitch The Series, The Emperor's New School, The Suite Life Of Zack & Cody, The Replacements, Disney 411, The Disney Channel Games, Stuck In The Suburbs, Mike's Super Short Show, Zenon, Circle Of Stars and loved reruns of Bug Juice and The Thirteenth Year among other things. I loved the retro theme they had going on and the old Disney Channel website was top tier as well, especially the layout and games.
I was also a huge fan of Toon Disney and watched it just as much as Disney Channel, I would come home after school and watch actual Disney movies they aired like A Goofy Movie, The Land Before Time, Atlantis, etc. I would even wake up in the middle of the night to watch Teacher's Pet at like 2 in the morning. Other shows include Timon & Pumbaa and Legend Of Tarzan.

Yes, every era thinks that their shows were the best. However, someone once said that the target audience of Disney Channel shows today are younger children. I think the late 90s and early 2000s DC shows were the best because they were targeted at pre-teens and teens. I’m 29 and I still watch some of these shows!

Everything about Disney was always great for sure till it started to fall. Saying that anything is a lifetime would mean it's taking over your life. Looking back on an hour of need that is a hard time is a positive thing to do. A true Disney fan would be able to tell the difference between reality to fiction. Those who were or are still well-known would have left a remarkable impact on their fanbase.

I am not in the age demographic for a lot of these Disney Channel movies & shows however I will openly admit that I rock out & work out to both High School Musical & Camp Rock. Not ashamed of this. Also re: Cole Sprouse I remember him as Ross’s son on Ben on Friends which is why I watched Suite Life Of Zack & Cody. I have yet to watch Riverdale but have been meaning to.
This was a wonderful stroll down memory lane! Growing up watching all these old Disney Channel shows and movies was the best part of my childhood.

I created a theory that almost every live action Disney channel and a couple of Disney XD series are connected by all the crossovers, the Z-Phone, and Mr. Hashimoto. The biggest connection is the Halloween crossover episodes. The connected shows are: Wizards of Waverly Place, The Suite Life, Hannah Montana, That's So Raven, Jessie, Best Friends Whenever, Ant Farm, Boy Meets World/Girl Meets World, K.C Undercover, Austin and Allie, Liv & Maddie, Lab Rats, and Mighty Med. There might be some that I missed or forgot, but there all connected.
There's another two that I just remembered: Good Luck Charlie, and Shake it Up.

I’ve probably seen every movie or show with Raven or Hilary Duff in it lol (still upset about the Lizzie reboot -_- ) and I’ve definitely watched a season or 2 of Raven’s home at my age lol
