Just tried this on the trial. Amazing straight out the box, that does'nt usually happen with me. Great tightness without the fizz, and good low end response, and I didnt add any cabs or effects except a bit of reverb. There are also pleasant harmonics. Having played with it also on the clean/break up channel, I'd say this is the best I've ever used, even against Tonex, except that it obviously does not have the same amp options. This is a winner, especially at the price. Thanks for the heads up Paul.
Paul, I have watched you on countless demos. You are excellent at reviewing gear, but what really noticed and admire is the way you pick and finger the board. You’re hand and finger movement is very consolidated. You lift your finger just enough to move to the next string or fret. No exaggerated or wasted effort. I Need to do this. I have a habit of wasted movement.
Hey Paul, I bought it after watching your video. It’s pretty awesome. I tried the trial version because I wanted to see if the cab worked by itself if the amp was turned off and it does! It’s a really really good sounding cab and reactive like you mentioned too! I have often found in the past that with IRs and even Celestion’s Speaker Mix Pro, I lose about 10% of the gain from my amps as opposed to being plugged into an actual cab - well that’s the perception anyway. This cab and the IRDX function feels like I’m plugged into a cab! The extra gain is there finally! Which I love btw. So, I have been dealing in cab tones - btw, the cabs and mics they have included sound amazing - and am using it as my IR block I’m my signal chain with my amps. So my SLO30 sounds even more amazing now! Bought the full license and enjoying it. Thanks for the great video dude. Have an awesome day!
The takeaway from your channel, and others like it, is that great tones exist in all the gear. Instead of buying every new thing, learning to play is a far more important goal. Sorry to interrupt the consumerism...carry on!
and in terms of digital...unless you really need the immediate attack feeling of an amp (like me) just because you are used to it, you can get any tone you want from digital gear, if you know how to tweak and find the right cabs etc.
Great tones! What kind of pickups do you have in this Suhr? I'm asking, because when I try to use this plugin without any overdrive, it sound lush and muddy (like Mesa Dual Rectifier without a boost). I have Bare Knuckle Aftermath in LTD-1000M and a quality audio interface, so I don't think it's a metter of low quality gear. Wondering if my pickups have to much low end ot what? Thanks and Cheers!

Sounds really good Paul, the tech is getting better, the price aint too bad either with this. Thanks
Better than the neuraldsp stuff for me. I have two of their plugins but this just does it for me. I only wish it had a chorus

Well said
I’m not sure!
There is no Comparison
Our there.
Fantastic
Just got it….HOLY SHIT GUYS!! It is shear brilliance
got the crak already, nice!
IRDX sounded like it added little bit of early reflections to the sound
That’s interesting, good analogy
I think Softube Amproom is as good as this. But perhaps you can make a comparison??

Nice vid. Would the IRDX be similar to what Celestion is doing with their IR loader? The DSR stuff?
A Studio Rats High Gain Special. Hell yes \m/
I tried the sim also last Friday being interested in the IRDX, but that amp(sim) converted me to needing to buy!
Wish you share with us some presets 😢
COULD THIS BE PUT 'INTO' THE tonex PEDAL RIG?
To take it out and gig.
Hello what audio card and what buffer size you use in standalone ? Thank you
Always Nice Hear the Nuance of a Product that is usually born for ChuggChuggChuggChuggChuggChugg😅😅😅
What is guitar pick to play that fast and furious 😮?
Hi, there is some digital distortion goin on sadly, I think the levensjaren not set properly, very apparent in the clean tones in the video
🤔 looks a lot like another amp sim
Yes but 1/2 price
