Im going to be praying for this sweet couple. I can understand how she must have felt when she was not with her husband. I watched my husband suffer but thank God the Lord always told me not give up hope that he would heal my husband. All the people around me except for my church had no faith and kept saying, That hospital is gonna kill him if you dont get him transferred. It was a horrible experience. This life is hard. I've died and was held in Gods hands and that was easier than living!
So happy the promises of God are there and that you trust them. That’s your hope. You have a beautiful smile and laugh. Oh God heal Els and Jeff completely in time and comfort them when it’s most difficult and when they struggle. Help them to reconnect and may they be blessed to see You LORD in unexpected places, people, and events that happen from day to day. Renew their joy and peace. As Els said, "allow the pain" because it has its own work to do on your understanding. He began a good work in you and you can depend on His faithfulness to carry you, abide with you, be a lamp to your feet, until He finishes the work (that you're His partner to do), in your journey. Some dive deeply into the heart of Jesus while others only wade in the shallow water. You are precious. You are loved. You have purpose. You have His Word. I hug you a long embrace in my heart, and pray deep refreshment over you. He sings over you. ❤

Pray Psalm 27 over the persecuted. I do every time I read it.
