There needs to be more studies that focus on the affects of antibiotic use in those with dementia to treat infections (UTI's for example). Especially those with advance dementia. I do not see very much out there on this subject.

Thank you for the info. I was recently diagnosed with Dementia/Alzheimer's. My mom has it also. I'm getting all the information I can, while I'm able to.

New subscriber here! Just found your channel and this particular video first. I am dealing with a family member (Mother in law) being cared for in my home with hospice care. I hope you have this doctor on again because I learned so much from his talk here !!! I have questions for the doctor that I would love to ask on livestream if possible! Either way, I very much appreciate this video as our loved one is at very near end stage dementia I strongly believe.

Great news information, my mom has Lewy Body dementia after being misdiagnosed with Parkinson’s for 8 years.
She is a stage 6d. Some days are better than others.
We finally had her and my dad enter a assisted living and she is doing pretty good there since my dad is with her. I don’t think she would be able to stay there if she was alone.

Where I am we do not have doctors to even talk to. We have all nurse practitioners. Really sad.
