Part of the problem is these people are complete lemmings. I don't believe they all came to the conclusion fox was too liberal. They are being told this by Trump newsmax, OANN, victory channel, and all the grifters.
Trump started it rolling and then it was everywhere and now it is an article of faith.
They all believe China controls the media in the US and can't be trusted. Instead they will trust some obscure youtube channel or wherever disinformation is posted on Facebook and Twitter.
Erik is correct people now gravitate towards information (not necessarily news) that they agree with, Trump recognized early on people believed his disinformation and steered the masses all the way to a siege of the capital, Republicans are going to use this tactic to seize power again! First, he said nothing, except to his cronies, so they could safeguard their assets. Secondly, his silence and/or insistence that the virus was going to go away magically, or in warmer weather, or whatever he said any number of times, resulted in the unnecessary deaths of hundreds of thousands of people. On the contrary: he did everything he could to help spread it. Paul Alexander, Trump's then-science adviser, acknowledged in May that minorities were being disproportionately affected. Trump doubled down on his rhetoric, insisting the virus was like the flu, that most people who got it recovered without even calling their doctors, ad nauseam. What a gift to a white supremacist like Trump--a disease as a means of ethnic cleansing. No one should have been surprised at his lack of action on such a situation; he didn't build his wall, but Mother Nature handed him a weapon with which he could "rid" the country of hundreds of thousands of immigrants and minorities, and he took it. That is how I have always voted unfortunately it is often very hard to get the true measure of a candidate prior to an election because so many of them often spout what they think the public wants to hear and than once elected do whatever they want to.

America needs compulsory voting, including early, absentee and postal voting.
To those who think this would be a rights violation, all agree to drive on the right side of the road and comply with other community standards. With compulsory voting to say you don't want to vote for any candidate you can simply write "no candidate" or leave it blank that way the rest of the country knows that you supported no-one but they also know that everyone had a chance to vote and express their opinion in an election.
That sort of "extreme skepticism" is a result of someone not being able to find the answer that they want so they resort to disbelieving everything rather than believe something they don't want to accept.

As much as Fox News is not news, neither is CNN. Fox was ridiculously pro-Trump and CNN was outrageously anti-Trump. The key problem is that news is dispensed by opinion shows with ratings. News should be about facts and not opinions. The opinions need to be formed by us, not by the so called talking heads who are worried about their year end bonus.

Also worth noting that mail-in vote counts weren't allowed to start in several states until after in person counts were finished. That's a pretty convenient (and apparently effective) way to make it look like the predominantly democrat mail-in votes were just shenanigans with the count.
Exactly, all I heard for days leading up to Nov. 3rd, was it was going to take days for a final count and most states would start counting in-person voting first! But all they heard was Trump talking about voter fraud and I believe he started that back in March, if not before.

I have gone back to sources that "remembered" that Trump was telling voters not to do mail in voting, and Biden was encouraging it! So since the counters (or whatever they are called) couldn't count these votes before the day of election, it wasn't surprising that the numbers came in the way they did. Right?

Yah, and it's not even true that Pence did nothing for two months. He reportedly had several lawyers (both white house and Constitutional) look into the issue for him. They all concluded he couldn't do anything other than read out the votes. In the meantime, he made several public statements that the 'legal process' would play out (in other words, he was supporting the legal efforts to overturn the election and perhaps even egging on the Repub representatives and senators).

I found out why from them--they never saw footage from Italy when all the hospitals outside Milan (a rich area where there are dozens of hospitals in a single district, all turned to treat only COVID, and all at 3x capacity, ambulances would circle with 3 patients each, hoping to find one empty bed, bc someone died...
It was our warning, but Trump/Jared thought they could make blue state governors look bad in the election if they let the pandemic hit the US hard. It was genocide and it was aided by FOX and OAN, Sinclair, who lied and omitted real news. They should all be sued by families of anyone who died, by those with permanent symptoms. 400,000 dead. There were so many easily accessible public resources flat out explaining why the swings existed, when they would come, and how this would affect things. It was also just an exaggeration of the same fluctuations that have existed in all major elections in prior years. This was all out there prior to Election Day, but none of them bothered to access the info and educate themselves.

I'm a conservative, but never was a Republican. I didn't vote for Trump in either election, but did strongly consider it both times.
An important thing to remember is people on both sides of the aisle are blindly loyal to their sides/parties. I would encourage people in this comment section to watch Fox News or other major conservative media outlets from time to time. Hearing opinions other than your own is very healthy.
