Good day Mr. Baker… I have noticed that you have not posted in a while, I hope all is well with you and your family and look forward to new videos forthcoming 🎉
Hi Dan, this is the first of your videos I’ve watched and found it really insightful. I’ve been using Logic for 20 years (pre Apple acquisition) and yet I learned a lot from this. You really know details that we often just over-look. Thanks!
The real-time bounce vs off line bounce gives a very different output bounced track. This would be good to explore. Comparing the results might be an interesting video! Thanks for another great video Dan
Dan - I echo the previous message, concerned that we haven’t ‘heard’ from you in a while!? Hope all is well and hope to see you back soon giving us your valuable insights into the wonderful worlds of music. ❤🎶
You probably know this, but if you need correct bar numbers (maybe you need the display to match a printed score), you can grab and drag the start marker (little triangle on the left of the bar numbers at the top) to extend your arrangement into the negative bars (to bar -1 or bar 0 beat 4 for example). The bounce dialog will default to that as the start of the arrangement.
Great video. Question.. I'd like to open a project and use it to save song ideas from different sessions, this way multiple song ideas, from different sessions, are available for review in one project. Can I export, or bounce, and then import multiple songs to one project, simply by moving the position of the play head? Curious, because then I don't have to keep opening and closing different projects to seacrh for the song ideas. Thank you....
I’ve had a few life changes and have rather had to put my energy into other things unfortunately, but I will be back! Yes, Logic Pro on iPad provides massive opportunities…
HEy! What about the fact that when you export individual files including fx etc but you also want to print the fx on the summing stack bus and sends etc? I cant figure out how to do this. The exported files only includes the fx that sits directly on the individual track but the bus effects are missing. Any tips?
Thanks Dan very useful, when exporting multi-tracks do you need to pan tracks to the center and adjust volume in Logic mixer or will the WAV file just contain what was originally recorded?
You have options at the export stage: you can tell it to include or exclude plugins and also panning information…volume is set by the fader but there is also the option to normalize…
LOVE your tutorial, in the future, could you please not move your cursor so fast? When viewing on a screen that's smaller than a flea on a hound dog, my old '60's eye just can not follow that fast. Thank...
Thanks Dan I’ve been a fan of your music for sometime now even before my friend Jade interviewed you lol,I’m putting together an album for bandcamp for the Teenage Cancer Trust to hopefully get 4 albums together to support kids with cancer firstly in the uk and then USA,Canada and Australia I know it’s a big ask because you’re obviously very busy but I would love to have a original song from you for it,I have been in contact with over 600 hospital radio stations who will put the albums in there files I also have 2 videos containing all the information on the video and in the description…..I know it’s a big ask but I fully understand if you can’t do it but I had to at least ask you….thank you for your consideration…russ
What does this even mean? If you want to find an explanation for the 32 bit float then look it up instead of posting flannel on someone’s RUclips Channel. See this here: www.sounddevices.com/32-bit-float-files-explained/

Excellent video. You've explained things well and it's logical as well. It's not a snoozer to follow.Well done sir.
I do enjoy that all modern DAWs still refer to bouncing tracks/songs in reference to classic tape reels/4 track cassettes.
Very nice
Loved this video. So thorough and easy to understand. Subscribed. ❤
Can't wait to hear this full song!

Thanks🤙🏾. At last I've found a way to export files to mp3/bounce. Quality sound on Logic Pro X
