Dang Astel is really good at using Mad Maggie, and in general too. It sure looks easy, but to be able to shoot her drill precisely at super long range like in 12:14 or to be able to predict enemy camping position, and the reflex on when to use her ult.. Mad props fr. Actually make me want to try maggie myself lol

I really love bo- i mean tsuna's calm/patience gameplay. Like asking them to not overdo it is really good. Keeping their high ground advantage instead of full commit in pushing. Seer's ult is good for information for astel's drills (really good combi). +Mother 3rd is new to apex but really good at fps. so i think these scrims helps him to get comfortable in apex tourneys gameplay. He's probably going to be one of those scam points. (I mean Really Cracked with low points value).
Astel and Tsuna together is so good. Pair them with mother who's cheap in points but also really good it becomes one of the top contenders in the tourney.

For those thinking that Mad Maggie is a throw pick, in the pro scene, top edge teams successfully run Maggie. The best EU team runs Maggie in their comps. The drill is oppressive.
That drill is pretty much made specifically to punish people hiding behind covers... Which is exactly what happens in comps lol. The absolute dream team would be Maggie, Seer, and Fuse. No cover is safe lol.
@@Aryazaky I'll explain Seer first since you can see them in the video as Astel's teammate. Be warned, I ended up writing quite a lot to go in detail of each character (apologies for that). Seer's passive is a heartbeat sensor. Basically if there are enemies within range of his passive, he can aim down sights (you can also do this without having any gun out) to get visual indicators of the direction of where they are. For example, if the enemy is to the left of where you are facing (within a certain angular limit, I think it's like 60%, and the effect goes through walls), you will get some yellow spike protruding from around your crosshair towards that direction. If they are directly where you are facing, the circle around your crosshair will turn yellow. Effectively a gimped wall-hack. This got nerfed hard in season 16 (the video is from season 15). Seer's tactical / Q, fires out a scan in a line in front of seer towards where he is aiming. This scan shows all enemies that got scanned by it, giving away their position and even their shields and health. And this effect lasts for like 5~8 seconds (not the scan itself but the showing their position and health thing). His ult is similar, but is a round dome that lasts for a while instead but only shows enemies moving faster than crouch walking. Those not touching the grown is also not shown and no shield or health either. So in the case of this video, the teammate Seer is scanning telling Astel the positions of the enemies for him to burn with the drill. As for Fuse, he basically gets 2 weak rechargeable molotovs for his tactical / Q. which each deals roughly 70 damage over 3~5 seconds (but people usually run out of it in the first half-a-second, usually only dealing like 20~35 damage). That said there is also a 10 damage for direct hit, and it sticks (the explosions themselves do not stick) and those things have huge hitbox that also seems to track a little bit. His ult drops a ring of fire around a targeted area and as long as the enemies are inside that ring, they will be visible for Fuse and his teammates, but size of the ring is affected by height (higher the bigger the ring), and you cannot choose how high unless aiming at something high up. The fire also causes burns if enemies run into it, guaranteeing a total of 75 damage over 8 seconds (35 initial and 8 ticks of damage over time even if they leave the fire). Lastly, his passive is that he can fit 1 more grenade / arc stars / thermites per inventory slot (double the carry capacity per slot), and can shoot them out further and faster than anyone else.
They're really not. Cheeky Mondo and other teams are rated by other players as must watch out for. It's the first day of scrims and it's scrims. People are still goofing around and the 2 champions they got they got really good pathing. They're top 10 for sure maybe even rank 6 or 5 but they're not as stacked when the main show comes.

IGL wise, they're definitely lacking, no matter how good Astel is in IGLing and even with Tsuna's help, the top preds and ex-pros like Selly, Mondo, Cheeky, Cpt, Kinako etc. are just on a different level. Mechanic wise, sure, both Astel and Tsuna are at least as good as a decent Pred player. Also their third, Mother-san is probably one of the worst when it comes to Apex game knowledge in this tourney. He has very good aim, but that's it, without extremely strong IGL to guide him, it will be hard.
@@abanicus agreed but the upside is mother3 still has decent aim so his cost performance is very good. Despite only costing around 2 to 4 points hes worth more. Also since Astels so used to having newbies in his team his IGL style is perfect for mother3 as Alelu said and complimented him. As long as the ring doesn't screw them over they can place 5 to 7th place easy. CPT while being cracked and winning 3? Cups before he's saddled with much weaker teammates and cheeky will run wild once he stops getting ambushed and forced to fight early by VDKs team lol. Mondo or Cheekys team is my horse this time despite loving Astels APEX play

They're really not. Cheeky Mondo and other teams are rated by other players as must watch out for. It's the first day of scrims and it's scrims. People are still goofing around and the 2 champions they got they got really good pathing. They're top 10 for sure maybe even rank 6 or 5 but they're not as stacked when the main show comes.

IGL wise, they're definitely lacking, no matter how good Astel is in IGLing and even with Tsuna's help, the top preds and ex-pros like Selly, Mondo, Cheeky, Cpt, Kinako etc. are just on a different level. Mechanic wise, sure, both Astel and Tsuna are at least as good as a decent Pred player. Also their third, Mother-san is probably one of the worst when it comes to Apex game knowledge in this tourney. He has very good aim, but that's it, without extremely strong IGL to guide him, it will be hard.
@@abanicus agreed but the upside is mother3 still has decent aim so his cost performance is very good. Despite only costing around 2 to 4 points hes worth more. Also since Astels so used to having newbies in his team his IGL style is perfect for mother3 as Alelu said and complimented him. As long as the ring doesn't screw them over they can place 5 to 7th place easy. CPT while being cracked and winning 3? Cups before he's saddled with much weaker teammates and cheeky will run wild once he stops getting ambushed and forced to fight early by VDKs team lol. Mondo or Cheekys team is my horse this time despite loving Astels APEX play

Perfect villain story. Got restricted once upon a time to only use Mad Maggie and now Astel's known for being strong in using this legend. 😈
Astel's already strong actually but his Mad Maggie is indeed different from other users. I am extremely happy to see him get more acknowledgment in apex. ❤️
