  • This video will show you how I modified the factory Land Rover Defender body in a Traxxas TRX 4 into a clear windshield or windows. It covers the cutting process and the installation of new clear windows to add realism to your scaler. Thanks for watching and please subscribe. Please pardon my accent.

No mate, your accent is fine. I have been thinking about fitting the clear window to my traxxas TRX4 Landrover. You did a great job of this video, very well done and lots of info. I would like to do all of my windows, but would have a problem keeping the vertical window dividers and it ould not look good without them. Any ideas from anybody??

its really more scale, i love it, but is there another type of glue that you can use?, like epoxy?

Don’t cut your body people! Water sand the windows on the inside, and then paint them with a clear coat. It’s way less dangerous.

consider using the J/K interior. It fills the entire cabin. 4 seater and area in the rear

Nicely done! What glue did you end up using to attach the clear plastic to the body?

All this work because traxxas knew people would want clear windows so made them black so they could release a version for another $100 with clear windows. Greedy company but good effort man!
