- Some astrologers help folx determine what their upcoming new year will be like during a "Profection Year" reading or consult. On your birthday each year, a new area of your life/house in your chart is brought into focus. We call these "Profection Years." There are 12 Houses in an astrological chart, and thus 12 different potential Profection years in a cycle that repeats, until.....
Some Profection years are considered more supportive, others are considered more challenging. In this 3 video series we'll be talking about 4th, 8th and 12th house years- why they can be challenging, how we can re-frame that challenge and my own personal experiences with each year.

Thank you for taking the time to explain profection years. For some reason the concept keeps eluding me. When I saw this video had dropped, I had a moment of "oh, do I need to rewatch the last one to try & grasp this?" But I should have trusted you wouldn't leave us guessing. for sure! profection years are hard for me too (unless im looking at a visual aid, wish i had included one)...its the zero/1st house year throwing things off that always trips me up...im gonna add a link to a visual aid i like in the info box! Thanks for the reminder to do so!

Mine just began... 😄 my 8th h ruled by Mars, natal in 3rd ♏. As a gift I get a big set of knives from a neighbor/friend couple... And I feel ready to cut off relationships with people who are stucked with habits that damage body(/self value). Ive (♍stellium, and) high self value. And Im looking for similar company. People who respect themselves. So that set of knives is quite a symbol for this new era. Im eager to release.

my 8H ruler is the moon, natal moon exactly conjunct saturn in the 9th in ♌..i didnt mention in the vid. but my 8H yr was also one of spiritual awakening and when i started to really nurture my astro practice! and also when my close friends began to turn to me/view me as astro resource. so that in my 9H I felt like i cd begin to offer readings

@@VaginaJenkins 😄 yes, Im pondering how marvelously this yeat may proceed... Solar return chart Mars trine Moon♊ and conjunct progressed Saturn. Natal M inconjunct Moon and that is the (only) aspect they make in natal chart. Progressed M opposes Moon.
And natal Pluto is in libra, progressed Asc&Sun conjunct it. Waiting for Mars to get there... And conjunct natal Mars. Having transit North Node and Chiron(with asteroid Lucifer) in the 8th, I feel this is going to be awesome 💀😃 that Chiron had/has long grand firetrine with natal NN♌ and Ic conjunct Neptune. Deep healing.
Finally, also having draconic Sun, Mercury&Jupiter in ♈ that at one point really helped to realize energetic balance, as in tropical chart its empty as pretty much all of that half of the chart.
