I've seen that Adele had made a new song called Hello. I didn't listen to it. Your cover on it peaked my curiosity to why allkpop said that 'it will blow you away' . now your cover is the first time I am hearing this song and it did blow me away.

I've heard many covers. This is the best one.. There's a difference between having a good voice and having a good Soulful voice.. This is soulful. Maybe that's the reason why a lot of people are saying they got chills first time hearing it.

Yeah but it's one thing when it's another English speaker doing a cover, It would be a lot harder to hide an accent if you weren't fluent in English, a lot of the time when it's a person who speaks Asian languages an accent will linger because they're so different from English.
+Katie Riley Maybe because she's from a music school, they teach how to pronounce and sing other languages. And they possibly have to practise the pronunciation daily. Just speculating since I have a friend from a local arts school who has to learn other languages (German, French, Italian, etc.) pronunciation as well as "proper" english and practises them daily. That's probably why she is fluent in singing in English.

Funny, yesterday I had Adele's version on repeat simply because I like the song and never once did I "feel" something from it. I ran across this version on Buzzfeed and had chills the instant she started belting out that chorus. Amazing! Simply amazing. What a beautiful talent.
+soraya kharid She'll probably still need training. Singers like Park Bom from 2ne1 was already good at singing before they trained, so was Kang Seung Yoon from Winner. But it's evident that training really improves them even if you don't see many flaws before they begin their trainee life.
nicole yeom i never said she didn't need any training. Even with so many training, most korean idols can't even sing properly without the help of the playback and only improve later on in their career after they are no longer a rookie. The training only help their dancing but not so much on the singing.
***** obviously the trainees are already talented. Well some labels are shallow and maybe just train random good looking people but that's a minority. I don't think you understand, you need to watch training videos or trainee tv series such as WIN, or MIX n MATCH. Rappers, dancers, singers get vocal, dance and rap training to improve their already outstanding skills. So yeah as you said, they can have better control, and the results are pretty good. It's completely different to the American Music Industry so it's understandable if people don't understand the concept but it is very hard to ignore the evident results.

Yeah but it's one thing when it's another English speaker doing a cover, It would be a lot harder to hide an accent if you weren't fluent in English, a lot of the time when it's a person who speaks Asian languages an accent will linger because they're so different from English.
+Katie Riley Maybe because she's from a music school, they teach how to pronounce and sing other languages. And they possibly have to practise the pronunciation daily. Just speculating since I have a friend from a local arts school who has to learn other languages (German, French, Italian, etc.) pronunciation as well as "proper" english and practises them daily. That's probably why she is fluent in singing in English.
Koreans invest tons of money for learning english especially for grammar and pronounciation(american). That's why she is so good at it.

+soraya kharid She'll probably still need training. Singers like Park Bom from 2ne1 was already good at singing before they trained, so was Kang Seung Yoon from Winner. But it's evident that training really improves them even if you don't see many flaws before they begin their trainee life.
nicole yeom i never said she didn't need any training. Even with so many training, most korean idols can't even sing properly without the help of the playback and only improve later on in their career after they are no longer a rookie. The training only help their dancing but not so much on the singing.
***** obviously the trainees are already talented. Well some labels are shallow and maybe just train random good looking people but that's a minority. I don't think you understand, you need to watch training videos or trainee tv series such as WIN, or MIX n MATCH. Rappers, dancers, singers get vocal, dance and rap training to improve their already outstanding skills. So yeah as you said, they can have better control, and the results are pretty good. It's completely different to the American Music Industry so it's understandable if people don't understand the concept but it is very hard to ignore the evident results.
