It’s Colomba Pasquale....that means “Easter dove” in English....because it reminds the shape of a dove...for us, in Italy is a traditional sort of sweet cake/bread with almonds, lemon or orange candied zest that we usually eat only for Easter...every Italian region has that as a tradition ❤️

hey anna, a friendly tip: the combination between dandruff and smelly pits might be a sign of a food intolerance, or even an allergy. ive had the problem and got it figured ot at my doctors, since then i hardly smell and my skin has gotten much better. ALSO...if its not an allergy or intolerance, it might be even a fungal infection of the skin. better get that checked :)

I JUST commented on Allana’s recent video about that Kosas deodorant!! From a fellow sweaty gal with so many failed natural deodorant stories, I’ve been so impressed. Used it for about 3 months now through all sorts of sweaty exercise.

i was intimidated by pachinko too!!! dived in and finished it in two days (lol). SO GOOD.
tip for sweaty armpits: You can use acne face wash on your armpits for a few mins, then rinse off in the shower. This will kill the bacteria that produce the smell. And try the Greendoor deodorant cream, I find it really works. But with natural deodorants like this, you have to use it BEFORE you start sweating/smelling. I use it right after I get out off the shower and also before I go to bed, so it can keep the microbiome of the armpits in balance. And note that it takes 2 to 3 days before you see/smell the effects.

I have had great success with scalp brushes or "massagers", for applying treatments or thoroughly cleanse my hair! Briogeo actually make one, that is designed to be used with their scalp treatment line.

The briogeo product you’re mentioning in the large tub with a pump is not the one you have, it’s actually a scalp micro exfoliating scrub shampoo, not the mask that you purchased. I have not tried the one that you have, but the scalp scrub is great, and a very popular product for them, it’s been around for years.
For the record I think you look great with your hair in that loose bun! Shows of your thick hair beautifully

Briogeo need to put a scalp application end to that tube. Vichy do one specifically for their scalp shampoo and its ace..with normal bottles even though j try my best, I can't get to the middle of the scalp!
We have the new Anna Jones and it's good! We're going to do the baked dhal with tamarind glazed sweet potato this week :) She also has a really handy 'single veg' section that has a lot of quick and easy ideas based around different types of veg - we've done a couple of simple quick dinners from that. I forget, do you have Jessica Elliott Dennison's 'Tin Can Magic' book? That's another winner!

Here in Nashville we have had heavy rain, Tornado, flooding & early morning freezing (which scorched my sweet little annuals I just potted.) Boo. But, today Easter looks like it's going to be sunny & beautiful. I'm enjoying your channel and wanted to recommend you try a new natural deodorant, Lume. I just ordered it & so far it's great. You can use it everywhere, if you know what I mean. Loved your book list. I'm reading Matt Haig right now, so good. Lastly, the house is looking fab and I really wish you would show a full picture of your back garden. Do y'all plant flowers in pots for your patio? Biologique Recherche P50 new formula as deodorant (put a little bit in a roll on tube) is the absolute best. I’ve used dozens of deodorants. This beats every single one.
You should try primally pure - I love their natural deodorant! I use the charcoal one.
Anna, try a shampoo bottle with a nozzle (like a ketchup bottle nozzle, lol) for the scalp mask, if the consistency isn't too thick! I reused a Kristin Ess (not sure if avail in the UK, now I think about it...) shampoo bottle for my scalp treatment shampoo and it really helps to deposit the product right where you need it.

The deodorant game is intense. I transitioned during the beginning of COVID. I actually use Vodka in a apray bottle. Took me about a month to transition and I've never looked back.
