I am an ex student of nlu Ranchi. We have faced similiar problems in the past. Though our university was established in 2010, it was 2014 before we got a campus of our own after repeated protests. State governments hastily establish universities for mileage but fail to provide adequate infrastructure.

We have same problem in mumbai University, don't have equipment, lab flood in monsoon, department library is not good, on 102 students 2or 3 copy of book. Hum log lamigton road gay the equipment lane ke liye. Second year mein lab fine bharwaya. Research projects ke liye mentor nahi hai, no seminars nothing.
Life Hacks - Jail for what????? I will suggest you to read a book ' A modern approach on logical reasoning'. I hope that will give you some sort of mental peace and some logical arguments as well.
