Okay relating to the allergy story something similar happened to my sister! She's ALLERGIC allergic to zucchini. Like carries an EpiPen and her throat closes up kind of allergic. The last time she had an incident, she had to spend a day in the hospital. And zucchini is a type of vegetable that has particles that go in the air? Idk the scientific term lol but that make it so it can't even be in the house or she has symptoms. So even though we live a state away from one another, I still never buy it. Just because I know how intense her reaction is and I wouldn't even want to chance it.
Weeellllll, her and her fiance are long distance right now and she was planning to visit him. Come to find out he freaking grew zucchini in the family garden at his place. (So they did harvest, clean them, etc etc in the house!!) My sister was pissed. She called me asking if she was being dramatic over starting an argument about it and I said she wasn't at all being dramatic. Like I'm living a state away and I STILL keep that out of my house, why didn't he take that into consideration either??
I'll just never understand why ppl even risk someone's safety like that. Let alone secretly put it into the burgers 😭
(They made up and he apologized profusely and he bought her a hotel that they stayed in when she came lol)

For the true crime stories, I totally understand if you stop doing them and I think everyone will support your decision either way! I feel you've done well being respectful, but I get that they're very heavy to read. If you want to do them from time to time, maybe it could be a special video once a month or smth? Just an idea. The mother-in-law is so wrong for that with the allergy thing . When I cook or if I’m gonna cook for a party I know to not put garlic in it because my mother-in-law is severely allergic and I wouldn’t want to jeopardize her well being!

my partner got his prozac doubled and it has actually completely destroyed his brain. like his hallucinations are a lot worse and he's more spirally. maybe a different med would help?
Oh gosh!!!! That’s so scary. My anxiety meds were like the lowest dose possible so the dose I’m on now is actually just a normal dose!! I jsut get dizzy for like 15-20 mins but no other side effects
that’s so crazy i’ve never heard of it causing hallucinations. does he have anything like schizophrenia? i’m on fluoxetine for my depression and it’s been lovely and chill and helped with my binging issues greatly as well

I really think you should go with your gut on true crime. I watched your epwisodes and while i do think you handled the stories very respectfully I think there’s some issues with some true crime content and it kinda points to the whole thing being a little disrespectful.
I agree!! I didn't realize how hard it was going to be to make TC content honestly and it just isn't sitting right with me :(
