For stock dolls, I usually gently comb out the hair first. Sometimes that will be enough. But, yes, I’ve had to give many stock dolls a hair spa, and I agree that considering the price, it’s crazy to have to do that.
Congratulations with getting your first stock Blythe! She’s really cute, I especially like her hat, sweater, & bag! I’ve heard other collectors mention that the hair on the stock Blythe’s usually have weird product in it, have to wash it out. Agree, for the price the hair should be much better and not so much plastic packaging, lol! I have 6 Blythe dolls, all customized, and one is an original Tomy Takara Blythe with light customization. In the new year I would like to add a few more Blythe dolls to my collection, they are fun. I plan to get a Pullip doll as well. Enjoy your new cutie, and Happy New Year!!!🎉❤
Oh wow, how cool that you have so many customized Blythes! I’d love to get a fancy one, I just haven’t been willing to spend that much. 😄 I have a factory Blythe that I plan to customize myself, but nothing extreme. I think you will love Pullips. They are such beautiful (and delicate) dolls.
@@HollysDollieHobby Oh, you have to get a customized Blythe, there are a few artist out there with pretty reasonable prices, there are some amazing artists with higher price points. I found most of my Blythe dolls on Ebay from other collectors, their prices were pretty good. Two of my custom dolls I bought directly from the artist. That’s cool you are going to try customizing your own doll, when you do, you’ll have to share! I’ve been wanting to customize Paola Reina and Ruby Red dolls, just been so busy with work and life, hopefully some day.
@@shelleyjulian9997 do you have a favorite Blythe artist? It really gets overwhelming when I start looking. 😅 I was looking at a Paola Reina a while back, super cute! I have a couple RRFF, but haven’t really considered customizing them…🤔 I recently discovered that Glitter Girls clothes fit them, which was pretty fun!
She is beautiful! The hair quality is something that could be improved. I did wash and comb out the hair of some of my dolls. I feel like I did a light boil wash following Blythe RUclipsrs’ advice. I was careful not to melt it… It was a long time ago… The thing I love the most is their stock! 🥰❤ Suri is so sweet!!
I haven’t washed my takara Blythes and they’ve been just fine, and since they have screws and metal stuff, I don’t prefer to get my Blythes wet 😊 my takara Blythes are each about 20 years old now.
She's so pretty 💖 😍 love her eyes and her hat is adorable!!! I need to buy me a few for my three aliexpress blythes. Did you give her sleepy eyes and gazed eyes with pretty pullstrings?
Maybe they're thinking that having to wash the hair is part of the experience. It's like when you buy a LEGO set, you're supposed to build it yourself, lol. I don't know why the hair is so oily. It seems you have the same two dolls that I have currently, but I just ordered another real Blythe, "To Fighting Milk Sarang" (What a weird name...). I love the outfit on the factory doll.
Most stock Blythe have rather blah hair compared to the fakes. 🙈 CWC is the creative aspect and license holder of Blythe who were manufactured by Takara and now by Good Smile Co. My last Takara Blythe had horrible hair like your Siri…. My only GSC doll is Katherine and her hair was pretty much great out of the box. Oh well…. As long as you love Suri, that’s what matters. 😊
Congratulations on your first Blythe! Welcome to the addiction. :)
😂😂 Thank you!!
What a adorable doll, I love her hair and eye chips, and her stock is amazing.

Thank you!! I might need to wash it then. Although…. She might just get braids. 😍
She is beautiful and love all the details. You are right about the hair though, it is odd, thank you for sharing 🥰🥰
Congrats, she is so cute. ;-) I agree and chuckled on the sustainable, the boots and the hair!~
Thank you!!❤️
I know, right!?! Let’s theme a doll for sustainability and wrap EVERYTHING in tons of plastic. 🤣🤣
I totally love her though!☺️
Congratulations! She’s beautiful! Love her accessories 💖🥰♥️💕
Beautiful.💖
Thank you!
@@HollysDollieHobby Yw. 😊

Ok, thank you! I might try to washing…. Not sure about a boil wash though…🤔
I might wash then braid it to get some wave.
@@HollysDollieHobby That sounds like a great idea 👍 I will love to see the final result!

Wow, how cool that you have some older Blythes!! Yes, decided not to wash mine. She’s really just for display anyway.
She's so pretty 💖 😍 love her eyes and her hat is adorable!!! I need to buy me a few for my three aliexpress blythes. Did you give her sleepy eyes and gazed eyes with pretty pullstrings?
Thank you!! I’m leaving her fully stock right now. But I am working on an aliexpress Blythe custom. 😀
Congratulations! I've ordered her too and then saw your video. I'm late to the party I think.
I think you’ll love her!! But she does have standard, weird Blythe hair. Just a heads up. 😉
Ho wow much is she please
@@tracyjohnson3596I think it’s $135 on Amazon

She’s adorable! Dang nabbit, my “no-spend” 2023 is going miserably.
Oh yikes! All of 2023!?! That’s brutal!! You can do it though!! 😀😅

Ooh, good to know that some of GSC has nice hair. That’s hopeful!
Try standing your Ali Blythe with waist straight and feet should length apart, they should stand better for you in their stands. ;-)
Oh great, thank you! 😃
