    Russia initially motivated their invasion by saying it was saving Russian-speaking Ukrainians from Ukrainian speaking Ukrainians because they were " one people" with Russia. But now, most of its bombings, torture, executions and artillery is directed at these Russian-speaking Ukrainians, while the ones who do not speak Russian are rarely bombed.

    There's a lot more to this story, like an explanation of why these parents agreed let their children go to Crimea, I'm not judging them, I just want to hear their side of the story more detail. I am absolutely against the invasion of Ukraine! However unlike many other children in Ukraine, it sounds like these two two were not taken by force. Apparently for some reason their families thought it would be best to allow them to go to Crimea. The amazing part of this story is the Russians is this case sent the children back to Ukraine when their families requested that they be sent back. Saying that they escaped makes it sounds like these two kids fled Crimea and walked hundreds of miles back to Kherson, which would have been an interesting story of course, but thankfully that didn't happen.

You are witnessing the depopulation of Ukraine so real estate and prime farmland will be stolen for pennies on the dollar. These are the same type of swindlers (let’s call them non Russian people) who tried to loot the Russian economy until Putin got rid of 7 non Russian oligarchs. Ukraine and Russia are kinfolk, and this is about as bad as it gets as in a civil war, not including the outside swindlers and parasites. I understand they can be separate nations, just like Germany and Austria are, who are very much the same people. This didn’t have to happen, but the western bankers and NATO pushed it too far. Putin was forced to protect Russia’s front yard. Ukraine’s corrupt politicians took the west’s payoffs and have Zelensky who will use every drop of the Ukraine’s blood and now Poland’s.

Saying they're gently indoctrinated is misleading, and there is clear documentation, testimony, live videos from kids who are being abused, and who've seen other kids taken to a place called "the pit" where Russians are physically torturing children who refuse to deny their Ukranian identity. Those children deserve their reality to be told by CNN.

      People don't really seem to have an idea of wanting the best for your kid. They couldn't flee Kherson, while it was heavily bombarded. Crimea seemed untouchable at that time. What people are capeble of in stressfull situations like these is not for you to understand, you need to at least understand that. Were they symphatisers? Perharps. But maybe they were simply desperate and wanted their kids to live.

      Of course it's a war crime, but it happens all the time. Here's why. 1) Russia refuses to accept international laws. Many Russian officials on Russian TV have openly said they think killing civilians is acceptable. 2) Inaccuracy; The front line often is not a straight line and Russian soldiers do not always fire accurately. There are many who are very minimally trained. Alot of "dumb bombs" are used to destroy buildings first. Most of the shelling/bombing happened before it was fully occupied. Now most of the damage has already been done. There's not a lot left standing. The Russians know that there is not alot of active bombing right there and it has moved to other areas, thus why you hear it in the distance and these kids probably aren't in danger of bombing although under occupation they are in danger of being harmed at close-range by gunshot, torture, or forced famine/lack of clean drinking water (but RU won't admit that because it doesn't fit their narrative).

Some are more insidious and others out and out abusive, but none are good. Some children have been beaten with sticks for saying anything positive about their homes, keeping Ukrainian flag symbols, or even for speaking in their native language. Older kids are more likely to rebel against this forced propaganda whereas younger ones are more likely to go along with the program and naiively believe their captors have their best interest at heart. That is utterly disrespectful to accuse them of exaggerating. You are not there. The boy was there, and the girl who was interviewed was too young to understand what was happening or to recognize the propaganda that was being pumped into her (which probably worked). Some kids were outright kidnapped and others' parents were coerced when they were especially vulnerable and given little time to decide. Parents were not signing up to give their children up. It was supposed to be just 2 weeks but then Russia went back on its word. Embassies and state officials had to get involved to get even a fraction of these kids back of the thousands that were taken.
      Russia's motives were not honorable. If they were they would have offered whole families to go or allowed them to go west toward Kyiv or Lviv to safety. Or here's a novel suggestion; Russia could have just stopped destroying their homes!
      You clearly have not watched enough of these interviews. Kids have reported beatings with sticks, having their Ukrainian flags destroyed, and in some cases punished severely for singing Ukrainian songs or speaking Ukrainian. One girl in another interview said that she was told her parents did not want her and that she's Russian now.
      Russia also aired a commercial in which a Ukrainian girl asked in Ukrainian to go to the bathroom and the Russian woman who was keeping her told her to speak in Russian or she would not allow her. This is abusive. You have no idea what goes on. When a child has experienced these things first-hand and has the courage to tell someone you need to take it seriously.
      If you really are genuinely interested in knowing what really goes on in this war I suggest watching The Enforcer channel at 10:00 PM EST Tuesday-Sunday. But I will warn you; don't bring any pro-Russian talking points to the livestream because moderators are strictly enforcing rules against that. Listen and learn. These guys on that channel use video and photo evidence to back up their position and they vet their sources of info. They also donate to charities to help the Ukrainian people each Sunday night.

Parents get on waitlist to send kids there. New ones have large medical centers for treatment. Better there than get traumatized by war!

    • @IAMGiftbearer
      @IAMGiftbearer Год назад

      There have been plenty of peace talks but they failed because Russia will not be reasonable. They want Ukraine to give up everything to them and that is not going to ever work. Russia will just keep increasing its demands. Also, they have not had a track record of keeping any promises they make.
      This is not a "both sides" situation. Russia is the aggressor, and Ukraine is simply defending itself. RUSSIAN OCCUPIERS ARE CRIMINALS COMMITTING ILLEGAL ACTS! Think of it this way; if a man (or several) came and busted down your door would you give him your child, let him rape you and the child, kill your husband (sometimes rape him too), steal your home, and kick you out to live in the cellar just to "make peace"? I doubt it. You'd try to defend it in some way even if you had to run and call the police.
      Ukrainians under occupation don't have the luxury of calling the police to remove these intruders from their land. They are doing horrible, unspeakable things to them and often the victims have nobody to rescue them because Ukraine's military can't get to all these areas at once. This is all because of Putin's greed and that of those who support him. It is on him to make peace. If he orders troops to withdraw this war could end this minute. It's just that simple.
      If you want to make yourself useful then contact him by email, letter, or any other means and tell him he needs to get out of Ukraine if he gives a damn about human life. Many of his people are dying too, but does he care? No, he doesn't. They are just pawns in his sick scheme of world domination and Ukraine was not the first nor will it be the last to be attacked if he has his way. We are not dealing with someone who can be reasoned with. He is a psychopath.
      Better yet, contact Russia's Congress (the Duma). At least some of them may have a more level head although many of them are brainwashed to do Putin's bidding and rubber stamp every ludicrous decree he puts on the table. You may get lucky and find a few who don't.
