I didn't use the Bluetooth feature ever. But I understand why people would be annoyed by it. Especially when you realize the reason they removed it was to get people to buy their other devices to use it.
iPhone user since iPhone 4. Little has changed with them. Been seriously considering z fold 6 for a big change. But now you got me considering the S25 Ultra also.
Switching from my s24 ultra to the s25 ultra just ordered mine last night. I upgrade every year because the trade in value is awesome. Apple never gives deals like Samsung. S-pen is a bummer, but hey it is what it is. 😂👍🏿
What up CJ and I got the same exact color. Got mine yesterday around 11am. It was either this or the grey for solid color all around. I absolutely love this device, one ui is so smooth and fast. The small redesign makes the phone feel great in the hand and being light. The display is fantastic. Time to sit my black 16pm down aside for a bit. The only Bluetooth feature in the s pen I miss is for the camera but it’s not game ending, but I will say Samsung has removed IR blaster, micro sd card, no qi2 built in MagSafe, no headphone jack and now the s pen blue tooth. But alas I still love the device.
There is no micro SD card or headphone jack in the S22 Ultra either, so that's been gone for quite a while now. I am getting my S25 Ultra on the 4th.. can't wait😍
I'm getting mine on monday, choosing the same color. I'm happy there is not much change because i liked the S24. So getting an improved version of the 24 is amazing.
I am coming from a Note 10plus and will be upgrading to the S24 Ultra. I love the boxy design and it looks more premium while the s25 ultra looks like a big screen A series. Also the Spen has bluetooth functionality making it the last true sibling of the Note. If you are paying $1300 for a phone it supposed to live up to the Ultra name
The original note did not have a Bluetooth pen. Most iterations have not. The Bluetooth pen was a novelty that no one used (the Bluetooth, not the pen).
Got mine yesterday, I don't mind the whole bluetooth pen thing. Honestly I like how blacked out it is. And how light it is so far! Just wish the phone was mag safe compatible. So I can rock it with no case. 😅
I don't hate it. It's just that the previous 2 iterations were great. No need to change. For those coming from S22 Ultra or previous iterations, it is a nice upgrade. If they need the s-pen Bluetooth, they could get the S24 Ultra.
I traded in my pixel 9 pro for the black exclusive. Might not be the wisest choice to some people but considering the fingerprint scanner on my pixel is temperamental and Netflix (something I watch on my phone l) stopped working, it’s worth it for me.
This has to be the most luke warm reception by the tech community ever to an S series line up. Hope someone at Samsung is listening. People are unimpressed!
The S-Pen downgrade was the deal breaker for me. I will hang on to my S-24 Ultra CJ. Just don't understand this move. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Let's see what the S26 will bring. If they continue this trend, It'll be time for me to move on and search for other alternatives.
The 24u is still absolutely amazing, and can now be picked up for a much more reasonable price. I am just impressed we reached this point where we have such excellent options at different price points.
@ I know. What I meant with my comment is referring to the future options. I switched to Samsung from Apple because of the many features Android brings to the table. So far, my S24 Ultra is working beautifully and with the promised upgrades of the software, I don't find a need to upgrade now.
About to unbox it, hopefully made a good decision upgraded from S22U. 🤔 a little worried about s-pen, as I've always used it, but the watch has it covered
I mean I have the s24 ultra and never used the bluetooth feature, for Samsung it is a cost while people don't use it and they want to keep the phone somewhat afforable or at least not more expensive then last year. I don't get why some people are overeacting on that as if they were using it everyday haha. Maybe for them it's just the idea, but for me I love the smaller bezzels and so big amazing display, better battery (even if it is still 5000) it is better because it's not all about the size of the battery itself (look at iPhone). The camera's did improve somewhat and the speakers as well, sure if you have the s24 ultra you do not need to upgrade, but it is not marketed to people that already have the s24 ultra. It is for anyone who needs an upgrade for whatever reason that might be. About the design not changing much is logical as well, there is only so little these phone brand can do, they should keep it to their own "style"'. They can not literally use someone elses design. There will probably come a moment where there will be a bigger chance on the back, but on the front things won't change much either because it still needs to be practical haha, maybe that the front camera dissapears on screen when watching content for the future to come.
This is not a downgrade from the 23U. The bluetooth function doesn't bother me cause I have the watch and buds to cover the features lost. Phone is better when in hand and using it for yourself
I used the Bluetooth Spen maybe 10x ever. 6 out of those times was family reunion photos when I had the phone set up on a tripod. And the other times was to show my iPhone friend how dope my phone was besides that never. Not a deal break for me but it was stupid to take it away.

They downgraded the camera from the S23 ultra 100x zoom last year on the S24 ultra. At the very least they should have returned the 100x zoom but they failed to do it. Sticking with the S23 ultra until there is a decent camera upgrade
I'm on Pixel but I'm liking the new software and the design. BUT the phone comes with pre downloaded Samsung apps which take up a lot of space and the cameras are not as good as pixel. Makes it hard to switch back. I wouldn't mind trying one out. Samsung though is going down the apple route the last few years and it's kinda annoying because they would do their own thing and it felt special.
If i want an iPhone I would purchase it. Rounded Corners was unnecessary due to most people placing a protective case on the phone. Will keep my S22 Ultra. S25 Ultra doesn't have any significant improvements to pay for an upgrade. Battery still 5000 mAh. I'll wait for S27 Ultra 💯
The battery is better though, its not all about the size of the battery you know that right?. Look at iPhone XD. You can make phones more efficient and that improves the battery as well.

I got my natural titanium s25 ultra yesterday. This thing is beautiful. But, I'm going to give it two weeks and see how I feel. So far, I like my z fold 6 better. If I upgraded from an s23, id be thrilled. This phone is awesome. Just not foldable awesome.

To uograde to same ohone year over year is silly for anyphone especially if u have the ultra or pro versions. 2 should be very least. Im upgrading nevaue last year i onlky had olus so this year im getting 25 ultra. With my 24 okus being oaid off the trade in is to good to miss . They gave me 700 for my 24 plus. And free 200 cfedit to get accessories and they had they double storage upgrade for free. All in all with teading in my 24 plus. Got the 25 ultra with 3 official samsung vases anchager block and 2 air tags for 600. Cant beat it. And now i have the uktra version i feel comfy to keep it for at least 2 years befor upgrading again so ill see ya on the 27 ultra after this

Depends on what you need in a computer I would not stay on a boring ass cell phone like an Apple phone for a MacBook. Especially when I can't even run any of the programs I use to tune cars

I promise you: your s22 ultras battery is not what it used to be afyer 3 years. It's probably around 80 percent of its capacity at full charge now

Depends on what you need in a computer I would not stay on a boring ass cell phone like an Apple phone for a MacBook. Especially when I can't even run any of the programs I use to tune cars
