clothesencounters I'm sorry Jenn but your international shipping prices are hella expensive... for 2 pieces it was about $50 USD 😰 If you are able to do a free shipping on all international orders over like $150-200 that would be sweet or have different flat rate shipping costs for different countries and discount codes ❤ And possibly an option for the real plus sized people to have their sizes made if requested or more unisex sizing for males? :) as for sizing I agree that it would be helpful if each item has the length measurements to refer to so they know if its too short or long for their height :) You're doing great Jenn! I know you're getting a lot of mixed reviews, but don't let that take away from this monumental success. You have been given the opportunity to create something special to you that you get to share with the world in a tangible way! No one can take that away from you. Not only that, but over the years that I have been following you I've taken note of how socially aware you are and how important certain issues are to you-even if you don't often share them in videos. I have no doubt that you took all measures in your power to be as ethical as possible with this line while still providing affordable clothing for your fans. I say all that to say I hope you are proud of what you're accomplishing and remember that even though you can't please everyone, you are still hugely supported and shouldn't let a few negative, judgmental comments allow you to forget that!

Hi Jenn! I'm a fashion design student and just finished my course, and I think that this, as your first collection it's good. You know what's in trend right now, and the clothes seem well done. It's a commercial collection, and I believe that's the point so that you can reach a larger target. I know you will study more about this industry and your next collections will be even better and more unique. For those who are saying things without even knowing a thing about fashion design you should do your research first because there is a lot of hard work behind those clothes and we all can see that the pieces fit the body really nicely, they look good. The items are made in a private manufacturer in China. There are no third party factories. We're vertically integrated and own all facets of the manufacturing process. All of the factories meet American standards. (:

Ya'll are being so harsh on Jen. Of course the pieces go with the latest trends, it's easier to reach an audience that way. She is no all-known high-end fashion brand that can set trends with just one collection. But Jen made the pieces personal for example by putting eggie in Korean on some pieces, the Korean national flower jumpsuit, the Korean melon or naming pieces after things dear to her. It is trendy fashion with bits and pieces of personal matters. She combined both worlds and I really don't see a problem with it.
I'm so sad to see all these harsh comments directed to her. She CLEARLY put all her thoughts and efforts to it. Like, yall might think it ain't special and blegh but for her, it's EVERYTHING. These people haven't been with her since the beginning so it's easy for them to say this and that :(

Wow, it's sad that everyone is hating on her new clothing line, someone in the comments section says that she copied Vetements and some of the tops she owned, it's true that Vetements has a over sized hoodie that looks like the one showed in here, but the knotty tops, I'm pretty sure there are a lot out there so it's not really that much of a copy. She put a lot of effort into this and even though some of us may not be able to afford some of these pieces from her clothing line and don't like her clothing line in general, like I said she worked really hard and she deserves more than people bashing her, at least respect her. I'm pretty sure that if any of us were to make a clothing line, it would be hard to not copy any other fashion brands. Other than people saying all these negative things in the comments, I think Eggie is a great clothing line and says a lot about her life and style.
Tons of clothing brands make similar pieces of clothing and its never easy to be completely original. However, she took these clothing pieces and made it some of her own which is still good and I bet we all appreciate the effort she put into this :”)

Why are people coming down so hard on Jen? She put out her first ever clothing line and people suddenly want to pin her as the "fast fashion monster". CALM DOWN. Yes, the fast fashion industry isn't the greatest, but majority of her subscribers probably wouldn't be able to afford any pieces if she had done otherwise. Maybe one day she will put out a line that is sourced differently, but for now I think it's safe to say Jens intentions with this line were in the right place.

I'm really shocked and disappointed at all of the negative comments I'm seeing on here. Most people are commenting that they're so disappointed that these pieces are rip offs and unoriginal (like, as if you all don't shop at basic stores like F21)... Like, really? If Jenn created something that didn't conform at all to today's fashion trends, NO ONE WOULD BUY IT. Sure, a fashion line is a creative outlet, but it's also business (and that doesn't make it any less respectable). Nothing will sell well if it's way too unique at the beginning of the line. You need to build brand trust and recognition before you really get bold. Personally, I think Jenn did a great job at keeping in line with fashion trends, while throwing in many little details to give the pieces personality and a very "Jenn" feel.

Hey Jenn, I'm not usually someone who comments on videos, but I just wanted to say congrats on this amazing new endeavor. I know you're getting a lot of mixed reviews, but don't let that take away from this monumental success. You have been given the opportunity to create something special to you that you get to share with the world in a tangible way! No one can take that away from you. Not only that, but over the years that I have been following you I've taken note of how socially aware you are and how important certain issues are to you-even if you don't often share them in videos. I have no doubt that you took all measures in your power to be as ethical as possible with this line while still providing affordable clothing for your fans. I say all that to say I hope you are proud of what you're accomplishing and remember that even though you can't please everyone, you are still hugely supported and shouldn't let a few negative, judgmental comments allow you to forget that!

I'm a fashion design student and just finished my course, and I think that this, as your first collection it's good. You know what's in trend right now, and the clothes seem well done. It's a commercial collection, and I believe that's the point so that you can reach a larger target. I know you will study more about this industry and your next collections will be even better and more unique. For those who are saying things without even knowing a thing about fashion design you should do your research first because there is a lot of hard work behind those clothes and we all can see that the pieces fit the body really nicely, they look good. This as your first collection, it's good. Can't wait to see your next collections! Don't stop working and keep fighting for your dreams!!!

The items are made in a private manufacturer in China. There are no third party factories. We're vertically integrated and own all facets of the manufacturing process. All of the factories meet American standards. (:

Ya'll are being so harsh on Jen. Of course the pieces go with the latest trends, it's easier to reach an audience that way. She is no all-known high-end fashion brand that can set trends with just one collection. But Jen made the pieces personal for example by putting eggie in Korean on some pieces, the Korean national flower jumpsuit, the Korean melon or naming pieces after things dear to her. It is trendy fashion with bits and pieces of personal matters. She combined both worlds and I really don't see a problem with it.
I'm so sad to see all these harsh comments directed to her. She CLEARLY put all her thoughts and efforts to it. Like, yall might think it ain't special and blegh but for her, it's EVERYTHING. These people haven't been with her since the beginning so it's easy for them to say this and that :(

Wow, it's sad that everyone is hating on her new clothing line, someone in the comments section says that she copied Vetements and some of the tops she owned, it's true that Vetements has a over sized hoodie that looks like the one showed in here, but the knotty tops, I'm pretty sure there are a lot out there so it's not really that much of a copy. She put a lot of effort into this and even though some of us may not be able to afford some of these pieces from her clothing line and don't like her clothing line in general, like I said she worked really hard and she deserves more than people bashing her, at least respect her. I'm pretty sure that if any of us were to make a clothing line, it would be hard to not copy any other fashion brands. Other than people saying all these negative things in the comments, I think Eggie is a great clothing line and says a lot about her life and style.

Why are people coming down so hard on Jen? She put out her first ever clothing line and people suddenly want to pin her as the "fast fashion monster". CALM DOWN. Yes, the fast fashion industry isn't the greatest, but majority of her subscribers probably wouldn't be able to afford any pieces if she had done otherwise. Maybe one day she will put out a line that is sourced differently, but for now I think it's safe to say Jens intentions with this line were in the right place.

No one is "expected" to buy anything lol. What you choose to endorse is on you and you alone. She isn't forcing anyone to buy into her brand. Seriously? You're upset that her products are on trend? You don't understand fashion at all if you're upset about her selling items that are currently in fashion. Also, do you not watch her other videos? She wears similar items, because that's her current style. Why is everyone so surprised that her items are on trend.
ALSO, if anyone here is upset about it being made over seas, you can't talk. Unless you do not own a SINGLE item made in china/indonesia/sri lanka/india. Odds are most of the people complaining own at least 10 or more items from any of those given locations. So, coming here and acting all high and mighty is straight up hypocritical.

Take a look at the links posted by the commenter above. She didn't even bother crediting or mentioning where she got her inspiration from for that piece because it's an exact replica she just changed the words to EGGIE.

I'm really shocked and disappointed at all of the negative comments I'm seeing on here. Most people are commenting that they're so disappointed that these pieces are rip offs and unoriginal (like, as if you all don't shop at basic stores like F21)... Like, really? If Jenn created something that didn't conform at all to today's fashion trends, NO ONE WOULD BUY IT. Sure, a fashion line is a creative outlet, but it's also business (and that doesn't make it any less respectable). Nothing will sell well if it's way too unique at the beginning of the line. You need to build brand trust and recognition before you really get bold. Personally, I think Jenn did a great job at keeping in line with fashion trends, while throwing in many little details to give the pieces personality and a very "Jenn" feel.
