I just bought the full size neon green OneWind based on seeing your videos. I've yet to set it up, but from what I can tell in your hammock videos it looks pretty straightforward to hang and adjust the lines. Thank you for recommending them, the ultralight looks like the same great quality for the money. Have a great day ☺
Nice looking hammock. Question about the set-up: when you're using a bug net and a tarp, do you use separate ridge lines for each or one ridge line for both? I wasn't sure if the clips for the bug net would wear on the tarp or not. Thanks!
“Blackie is well under 250 lbs., so...” Light weight! Seriously tho... I have been looking at hammocks, to see if maybe I can stop groaning my way out of the tent in the mornings. But, I’m probably gonna need a two person.
the full size 11ft onewinds hammocks are rated to 1000lbs my friend dan lutz was 6ft 8 and 400 and he was very happy with his 12 ft plenty of room for the big guys
I like that hammock Blackie. I went with a double nest ENO for comfort but this one is def on my radar for lighter hikes.. Thanks again.
Good choice!
Nice lightweight hammock Blackie. Glad that it will work well for you. I'll have to check out the One Wind gear. Thanks.
Right on

Good review Blackie
It looks like a great piece of gear thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the review and ideas Blackie. I have been wanting to try a hammock.
Any time!
Thanks for the information.
Any time!
That’s a cool hat I want one
It's a little short for me Blackie, I love the flat lay I get on my 12 Footer. I might get one for Mrs. Boom thoughbut.
it would be a bit small for a big guy..but as a light quick haversack kit it would be a good choice

the bug net will slide over the hammock and seal on ends..i run the tarp on a ridegline above
my UL Hammock was 25 incl shipping. tenth wonder, UK. hard to beat unless you're Chinese^^
over there i can see that i once shipped a book to a subscriber as a gift the price to ship any thing to the uk is unreal
You didn't explain what you were planning to change with the end connections and did you use the snap-clip/carabiners or not and if so where and how?
It's been fun.....
safe journeys
I've been considering getting a hammock for awhile now. I'm not a big fan of laying on the ground and not sleeping well when I'm out in the woods.
me neither too many ants that bite and things that crawl in your ears at night
