- DIY Dental treats for dogs! You can call them homemade greenies if you want! These diy fresh breath treats for your dog are a great way to promote dental health! Last week we were talking about the importance of dental health in your dogs. Memphis had her teeth professionally cleaned and we decided we wanted to make a treat that could help promote dental health! Before we get to far into this, I just want to say, I am not a veterinarian, or a dog nutritionist. Please be sure to check with your vet before feeding anything to your dog. Let's make some DIY Dental Chews for your dogs!

I always like to make your dog treats for the dogs at the local animal shelter I volunteer at. So many of them come in with such bad smelling breath, which is a big turnoff to potential adopters. I think these could be our solution without breaking the bank. Thank you so much for this recipe!

Organic apple cider vinegar is extremely good for dogs with bad bacteria in their mouth that causes horrible breath. The vinegar helps kill the bacteria which stops the bacteria from making their breath stink.
You can add a tablespoon per cup of water in their water bowl.
You can also add it to any type of treat you decide to make to mask the taste because we all know it doesnt taste good raw and some dogs won't drink it in their water.
It's also extremely good for utis for cats and dogs.

My dog has a skin infection and apple cider vinegar immediately relieves her itch.

I made these treats for my labrador retriever a couple weeks ago and she LOVED them ☺️😉 I still cannot believe that Shelby ate a mint leaf without any dip haha silly girl.
