Thus, Vivendi told the developers to change up the series and, for better or worse, we now have what we have. If you didn't play any of the other post PS1 games, I'd suggest trying Crash Twinsanity. It kept the style of the Naughty Dog titles while adding onto it with free-roaming and humor ,and it became a fan-favorite.
I'm 100% agree with the producers comments. Then Crash Bandicoot is advanced game, mostly considering the ps1 skills. That much details and reflexions don't even exist in most other games, it's just coming on ps3 lol...

Universal had the rights, and when ND's 4 year contract with Universal ended and ND didn't want to sign a new contract for future PS2 Crash games (they didn't believe in the success of Crash in PS2) Universal then chose another company to develop Crash games.
They felt Tawna was too...sexualized for an all-ages game. (Ironic, looks at the nymphs in Rayman Origins, another all ages game), so they replaced her with Coco with no real sexual qualities whatsoever.

OMG imagine a Proper Crash Bandicoot Game with today graphics i absolutely Loved the old Crash Games but after Naughtydog got rid of the rights and sold it onto another company its just got shiter and shiter and i dont even wanna go into what i think about WTF he looks like now hes with Activion and not just crash all of the characters WTF have done to them :O just do us all a favour Activion sell the rights back to NaughtyDog give these new Gamers a Real Crash Game like us 90s Gamers once had.
