Hey jaz, i just got graduated from my dental school in Iran, it was so nice heading to your videos on youtube. I really nead to collect & review my knowledge of 6 years which i think is kind of blurry especially in my older courses. tnx
Hello from Denmark, great stuff. G premio bond is great for all bonding protocols, including total etch, but it’s as always sensitive to the technique used, so I agree, do selective etch. And regarding sensitivity, etching dentine wrong, where you etch the tubules deeper than the bond penetrates, will cause it. And having rubbing contacts with non axial forces, will make the tooth stay sensitive until it breaks, wears or intrudes.
Hi Jaz, why is it more important, when looking if you have a tight contactpoint or not, to floss from cervical to coronaal instead from coronal to cervical? What is the logic behind it?
I have found that I am much more likely to detect an open contact when going cervical to coronal - ie. you can get false negatives if all you rely on is coronal to cervical. Sometimes it will give you an illusion that there is a contact - but the cervical to coronal will confirm as it will pass through easily
Most cases I will place it before hand - I love working under Dam. Even to remove the caries under Dam. The exception may be if the radiograph suggests that the caries is mega subgingival - in such cases it may be prudent to pre wedge and remove caries first

Great stuff, easy to forget how difficult it once was (and still is some times!) when you first started. Keep it up 🙏🏾
Yes! Thank you!
Noooice. Finally an adhesive topic, thank you

@@protrusive thanks a lot :)
Great video thank you. Which heaters would you recommend for composite?
BAD Fire 🔥
Do you place the rubber dam before or after caries removal?
