The regulations for the specific cwd hunt is hard to find so we understand your confusion. There is regulations saying that is legal to shoot a buck with a gun in this special antlerless doe season and we literally dropped off the deer head to get CWD tested handing it to a conservation agent with him knowing it was taken by gun. Hope that clarifies things. For specific regulations please look up section "3 CSR 10-7.439 - Deer: Chronic Wasting Disease Management Program; Permit Availability, Methods, Limits"
Great video! Shooting tip for you: the fore-end of the rifle stock should be in the front rest, never the barrel. Anything putting upward pressure on the barrel, especially midway to the muzzle, will deteriorate accuracy potential.

Nice buck! Your shouldn’t rest your rifle barrel on anything while shooting it will affect you point of impact a lot more than one thinks that’s why 99% of rifles now days are free floating barrels

Don’t rest your barrel on the gun rest when sighting in. Just rest the stock on it. Otherwise, good job… it’s probably shooting a tighter group that you expect, but it could still be off 1 or 2”. Do a re-site in when you have the time or if you are shooting more than 200 yds.

Fellow Missourian here. Does that count towards the firearm season any deer tag or is he still eligible to get a buck during November firearm season?
Im not n same Cwd zone we were not allowed to shoot bucks. From info Iv gatherd it was a illegaly taken buck. Is wht it is. Antlersless season!

It pushes the barrel up and then when you go shot a deer it will shoot low.
I know it’s a ladder stand, but you should be wearing a safety harness. Anything can happen at anytime and a harness is cheap insurance.
