Hmmmmm…IMO she should have made a cleaner break, IF she really wanted to leave him. You know, the obligatory 5-7 years away, then come back as a brain surgeon/world renowned designer/CEO, and with 1-5 genius children. Also, when she finally did leave, she wanted to be found otherwise she would not have contacted her friend. She knew the ML would leave no stone unturned and would eventually find her. 💁🏾♀️

En realidad este drama es confuso. Supuestamente son dos chicas identicas, e'l tiene a una en secreto en el hospital enferma. La otra es la que trabaja con el. Al final no se sabe que pasa con la que esta' en hospital. Solo aparece con la otra. Creo que el escritor se enredo' y nos enredo' a nosotros porque todo es confuso.

@@СветланаКеллер-е4ц I think this is much better and superior script than others. THere is no blatant violence or abuse. Plot is more complex and itneresting with the different love interests of the FL
The modern versions are not as good as the “traditional Chinese action romance series” - maybe it’s because we see them in the same outfits or because the script is a little too predictable - these two main leads are very popular and I like them but I am starting to get a bit bored and not even good acting can save a bad script lol

This was good, but I still have unanswered questions…first, why did his assistant have a furtive phone conversation about the FL’s liver…unless it was just badly translated? Or, was it just a red herring?

This pairing has become my fav since a drama before.
The acting of the FL can be considered very good. In other less capable actress’ hands this character might be seem ‘weak’ and ‘tiresome’ but she can potray the strength, tenacity and complexity quite well, even for this kind of drama.
The ML’s character actually has the potential to be an infuriating ‘sc*mbag’ character (marrying other, kept her hanging without status for years, presumably making her a ‘substitute’, domineering, etc) but he’s still not hateable nor unworthy. And hello?? One of the very rare MLs who still believe in the FL despite the framing from the green tea b*tch and his own mother, even with their ‘solid proof’. The actor also should try to be in mainstream dramas with his look.
As always if these 2 leads, always amazing, non stop attracting, exciting, interesting even similar story but this one a bit twisted,and different.
Only is not clear about look alike to FL, anyone pl tell more why there is that look alike FL and her story.
1st love of ML did die right.
ML first love died --secretary looks like first love --howeer the woman in the hospital had surgery to look like the secretary. ( dont know if MLs mother or rich girlfriend paid for the cosmetic surgery). ML ran into this look alike and chased her but she got run over by car. ML put her in hospital waited for her recovery to find out who was supporting this imposter. Meanwhile the FL thought ML planned all of this and thot ML merely wanted everyone to look like the dead girlfriend. Point of the story altho ML was a powerful scumbag, he actually loved the FL and eventually divorced the rich girlfriend --whom he regretted marrying. the marriage was a business arrangement common in China, and the men typically have mistresses on the side.
FL wears one outfit from beginning to near the end of the movie 😃 (except for the wedding gown at the end)
I love the ML. I don’t like the character of the FL. she’s aggressive, cold and relatively unfeeling. If she didn’t like the situation, leave and get another job.

I was just going to say that they make a great couple, and others beat me to it... I saw few of their dramas together and while I like them when they play with other actors too, together they just make a perfect pair. The script was new for me, so thank you for it. 👏😁... But most I should say that the script is a bit rushed. I think the writer/s wanted to make him into a scumbag who just wanted to exploit her for his first love, but in the end they just wanted to cater to a bigger female audience so they changed it. Anyway, is just a bit of non-serious entertainment when you don't want to use all your brain cells at once, and if it keeps you interested is good for me.
