Great ending. The ML actually takes responsibility for his bad deeds. I also loved that the FL was smart enough to say she would never go back. Thank you writers for giving us a storyline that didn't contain an idiot FL. Well done. The actors did a great job.
The ending was quite apropos. I hope I interpreted it correctly that the police was there to arrest him. He should be happy because his mistress wasn’t dead, albeit in a wheelchair. What an awful man. Even when his son was kidnapped, not even mentioning his ex, he had the gall to say it was an accident. How can you equate an active crime with being an accident? He truly didn’t love his ex at any time. Glad he got his just desserts and he lost a beautiful woman and son.

Usually, the FL will go back the the basset ML. If the lack of brain cells was fatal, the FL characters would never make it. The writers seem to have come up with a new genre for abuse seekers. Why do all these evil abusers think that they have a god given right to be forgiven after everything they have done? The ‘I’m sorry’ apology is worse than useless! Even after these creatures apologise, they revert to their former sadistic selves, believing everything they are told, by those with ulterior motives! If someone treated me like that, there would be no second chance!
Alot of these dramas make it seem like Chinese women are so starved for male attention that the abuse doesn't matter as long as there is an apology afterwards. It makes me sick. How about a thing called self respect?

*_one of the most brilliant and close to real life depicting drama, for anyone that wants mystery, suspense, psycho-analysis of the human nature during it's DARKEST hours..a genre different from the "I went to jail for the murder of my husband's mistress" series..But this drama goes beyond , where the other dramas end, in the sense that, it shows how love turns to hate, despair and obsession turning to possessiveness but ultimately turning to remorse and acceptance of punishment and purgatory, on the ML's part...the ML, has always been a brilliant portrayed, a wealthy scion's perfection,punctuality,self-obsession and possessive nature, to its PERFECTION..no one else can portray all these emotions ,in one package..he is exceptionally suited for these roles and that to with this particular heroine ..one may have seen his other drams with other FL's but this is the FL, that brings to light his perfection and ruthlessness, while he brings out her feminism, her helplessness and her motherly love, in protecting their child..the FL wins her way and the ML apologizes and goes to jail, in the end..A MUST WATCH._* 👌👍👍💯

So ,what i got is the mistress jumped off the stairs to frame her,then had her tortured and abused in jail ,under the lovers name. When the FL is released and discovered, and the ex husband started harrassing her, the ex dead mistress picks up on the harassment to ruin her reputation. But what I dont understand is why come out of hiding now. You could have shown up years ago, and been with the cheating bastard while the ex-wife was in jail for attempted murder.
This was torturous to watch. The man never took one moment to figure it out. His abusive reactions were over the top and relentless. When the plot started to change, I found it astounding that he never once showed remorse, but thought she would forgive him carte blanc, because...you know, in his sadistic way he got off on torturing her, but now wants a life long torture partner. Thank the goddess, she was smarter than him.

This is the first mini drama that I saw with Shen Hoanan and Wang Gege. Although not the best drama they have excellent chemistry and the little boy is too cute. I love her best friend's style.
Let me get this right- everything that happened to the FL was at the hands of the “dead mistress” and the look alike!? Did the mistress force someone to get surgery to look like the FL? Why didn’t the ML turn them in at the end? There were moments the subtitles worked, didn’t make any sense or were ahead; though I finished watching it cause I was intrigued but also because I’m a fan of the actors who play the ML and FL, I’m still left confused on some things.
I can relate. I do not understand who/ what is actually behind all the suffering the FL went through. The woman that fell from the stairs, who was she? The ML mistress? Why was she in a night gown in someone else home?
I'm sorry but please reduce such toxic dramas where the male lead torture females and promote violence. This is indeed an act of hatred and there is no love indeed.

感覺結局有些沒交代清楚，老申怎麼又演回掐脖子渣男？不過格格沒原諒沒復合挺好的，別總是誤導觀眾，渣男只要挨一刀或是給車撞，就能迎來復合的大團圓，這太不真實了，不鼓勵。❤❤❤
是呀，至少這部的結局是我唯一覺得不錯的，太多渣男戲最後都是擋個一刀就合好了

Wish the ending is longer they always spend time in unnecessary scene and rush the ending
Dan aku menghabiskan 2 jam 11 menit untuk menguras air mata. Tapi aku menyukai ending ini. FL tidak kembali pada FL dg mudah. ML menebus dosa krn selungkuh dan memfitnah FL, bahkan mereka tidak berakhir dengan damai. Ini adl drama dengan ending terbaik dari alur sejenis. Terimakasih karena tidak menciptakan FL bodoh dalam drama ini.😍😍👏👏👏

This is the first mini drama that I saw with Shen Hoanan and Wang Gege. Although not the best drama they have excellent chemistry and the little boy is too cute. I love her best friend's style.

Why didn’t the ML turn them in at the end?
There were moments the subtitles worked, didn’t make any sense or were ahead; though I finished watching it cause I was intrigued but also because I’m a fan of the actors who play the ML and FL, I’m still left confused on some things.
Same me, I like the actor, story didn't make sense to me.

Same Girl.I’m sick of those dramas with the same toxic plot like why waste two hours on abusing , mistreating, and humiliating the fl then after finding the truth they just apologise like who gives you the courage after all you’ve done .Just hope for a well balanced drama portraying sincere love and no misunderstanding but also some violence where the villains interfere but in the end they have a happy ending.

I watched till the end. Wow. Trauma and headaches galore. Great acting 👏 definitely don't want to watch it again...too much emotion.
