will you guys at SSL ever add automatization to this console and moving faders???? That will indeed make it a perfect console more people in the home studio realm will buy. I dream of an SSL desk for over a decade but I can't afford the $100k AWS and it doesn't make sense for me or many others as well, but this slick looking desk would cut it if it would have the automatization even as an extra option. I know the answer it will be go Matrix plus xRack, but...that's not the point. It will be perfect to have it all in one box. Thank you !
Don't forget is not the Super Analog circuitry inside. It's a console for people who love analog sound. SSL makes this products this way in purpose, who will still buy an AWS if this will be fully automated, full recall, DAW control with a matrix design ?!? So if you want all these you'll have to buy an XLDesk+Matrix that comes close to a AWS. So here is your answer. Stop complaining...and another thing, everyone dreams of an SSL, but not anyone has to have it, it's exactly how anyone will like to drive a Ferrari or a Lamborghini, because so many know how to drive. Same here, so many know how to mix, but not anyone should be entitled to do it on an SSL, music is not a privilege, doesn't come free, I'm tired of tens of thousands of producers making music on a PC+a sound card+a midi keyboard(nothing wrong with that either) and of people downloading music for free,.....so everything starts from here, start paying for the music you're listening, same as you pay for your food, shoes, clothes, etc and than at the other end more quality people will be able to "drive" quality equipment. I'm not a rich guy, I'm still saving to get myself an SSL and it will probably take couple of more years to achieve that goal, I'm happy SSL it's so expensive, because not everyone has to be able to own one, only who deserve it and who sweats for one. SSL PLEASE KEEP DOING THINGS FOLLOWING THE SAME PHILOSOPHY !!!!

The possibilities are endless and at $20k starting price, it's unrivaled in terms of price-point, functionality, sound, and features. There is no other console like this on the market, but whether or not it works for you, is a matter of taste and if your workflow calls for it.
No DAW control or automation capabilities for 20,000+ is like buying a new car with no AC in 2014. smh! I don't anybody who wants to track through an SSL... And I sure as hell don't know anybody that wants to mix on a console with no automation... Let alone an SSL with no automation. smh! If their was an option this thing would be a hit.

Great console! But I did not understand where are the preamps. I saw different rear panel images but there were only serial ports...

No it's not. Automation would make this cost as much as an AWS. Just buy an AWS if you want those features.
Or a Matrix. If you are focused more on Daw mixing than analogue. Or buy a Sigma aswell then have an XL Desk with automation.
